You will not receive the product as pictured that is Alcohol Based. Vallejo recently reformulated this product that is now Water Based. You will receive the new Water Based product. No idea yet if the new formula works as well as the old one. If anyone else knows, please share.

Doesn’t seem to do much but stain surface where decal is to be applied. I recommend staying with micro set or micro sol (for thicker decals).

Vallejo is a brand I have trusted for over 35 years for my models and miniatures. To get decals to 'drape' and conform to irregular surfaces you are going to need 'setting' solution and 'softeners'

Ich habe bis dato wirklich gute Erfahrungen mit dem Decal-Softener gemacht. Ich benutze ihn gemeinsam mit Decal-Fix. Der Softener macht die Decals wirklich weicher und hilft so, sie auf ungeraden oder konvexen Flächen sauber und plan aufliegen zu lassen. Das hat zum Beispiel auch an Stellen funktioniert an denen das Modell Nieten hat. Man sollte ihn eher sparsam und in mehreren Aufträgen einsetzen, da er sonst die Farbe löst und ihm lange Zeit zum Trocknen geben. Ein weiterer Vorteil des Softener ist, dass er ein mattes Finish hat und den Abziehbildern ihren natürlichen Glanz nimmt, was gut ist, da ich die Decals oft nach der letzten Schicht Lack auftrage und somit nicht nochmal lackieren muss. Holt euch das Zeug, damit macht Decals benutzen echt mehr Spaß!

El modo de utilización es sencillo: - Se aplica un poco del producto en la zona donde va a ir pegada la calca. Se coloca la calca con un pincel. se le aplica por encima otro poco de producto, nos aseguramos de que la calcamonía esté en su sitio y presionando ligeramente con un papel absorbente como el de cocina, retiramos el exceso de líquido. Dejamos secar y una vez seca, y ya queda perfectamente fijada. Para obtener mejores resultados recomiendo aplicar, cuando la calca está seca, un poco de "Decal Fix" con un pincel y dejamos que seque durante un par de horas. Este otro producto ablandará la calcomanía y hará que se adapte a las pequeñas irregularidades de la maqueta como surcos entre paneles o remaches, quedando la calca talmente como si se hubiese pintado.
