I have been looking for a less “catholic” and more meditative image of Jesus for some time now and I found it. This sits on my prayer altar and simply brings to life this sacred space especially under candle light. The detail is outstanding, the size is remarkable for the cost and the weight is good quality.If you are looking for an alternative catholic statue that reflects Jesus sitting at the Sea of Galilee, or something to fit in with your contemplative side you really must try this. It is beautiful.

I was expecting something more like the size of my Ganesha statue. I saw 10’ but it didn’t click how big that actually is and it looks smaller in the reviews. My first thought was to return it for something smaller but it feels powerful and beautiful and that’s exactly how I wanted it to feel. Pleasantly pleased.
