Too tight
They are very difficult to disengage from pedals compared to genuine Shimano cleats, but they function well, and the covers are still functional after walking miles in them.

They covered a distance of 350 miles, but the yellow plastic piece broke off while I was riding, almost causing an accident when my foot slipped off the pedal. Despite this issue, I would still consider buying them again. They are ideal for easy training, but not for sprinting or putting excessive pressure on them during a race.

Only one ride!
Finally got around to putting on these new cleats and did a long ~50 mile ride this weekend. When I got home and took them off saw that two of the yellow pads had come off. After one ride! My return window has closed or I would do so. Just sharing the poor quality of these before other buy them.

Not durable for road use, okay for indoor trainer
Cleats with cleat protector set for the price of cleat protectors only! Well, in this case, you do get what you pay for. While the cleats did fit my Shimano SPD-SL pedals perfectly, they look like my 4 year old cleats after only 1 week and 300 miles of use. AND I used the cleat protectors for all but the briefest of times off the bike. As reported on other reviews, the cleat protectors are almost impossible to get off as the tabs are too small to hold onto. I can't trust these cleats as I'm afraid they will break during a ride as reported by others. They are very affordable and I'm sure they'll work fine on my stationary trainer, so I'm giving these 3 stars instead of 1 because they offer good value for that application. If you're looking for cleats for use on an indoor trainer, go for these, but I'll look for a more durable cleat for the road.

Cleats are excellent, the covers just OK
The cleats work great on my road bike and on the Peloton. The covers are effective, but very difficult to remove as the tab to pull on is too small to get a good grip - or the material is not flexible enough to stretch and easily remove.

Difficult to remove!!
The cleat covers are impossible to remove with the tab while wearing ones bike shoes. I pack a small screwdriver with me to get them off.
