One of the best additions to my tool cart organization
It's a good size for holding all those pesky extensions that were cluttering up my tool cart top bay, and it holds things better than any other magnetic mat/panel that I've seen. I use it on the underside of the lid of my US General cart, so it gets put to the test holding things upside down when the lid gets closed. It holds modest sized ratchets, punches, hooks and picks (although it sometimes lets go of my Tekton picks when I close the lid on my cart), allen keys, and such.If it weren't so spendy, I'd pick up more, and other sizes, in a heartbeat. Still, for the number of cluttered items that it elegantly holds.... it's probably a better value than most other organizers in the tool organization realm.

I love this magnetic mat! Better than the alternatives
I absolutely love these magnetic mats from Lodesol. I've found so many uses for them. Primarily I use them for holding my tools but I've always found them great on build sites to keep track of magnetic parts like nuts. The narrow mats like this one can also be "mounted" just be sticking them a large pole and hold tools that way. Highly recommend!

Handy to keep tools and bolts available
Throw this on the cowl or fender area and it makes your life easier when trying to set tools or parts down and them not falling into the engine bay.

Ceramic magnets are too weak for material thickness.
I returned mine because the ceramic magnets were too weak for my vertical use on aerial lift rails. The thickness of the outer material diminishes the useable magnetic strength.I appreciate the thicker material to help make it more durable but it needs stronger magnets for vertical use allowing hardware and tools to fall off too easily. If you are using it while semi-flat, while working on a car it may be good enough for you. After my trial, and deciding to return it without finding a suitable alternative, I would pay more to get neodymium magnets and am considering making my own.

Weak magnets
I liked the idea of this flexible magnet holder but the magnets I feel are not very strong.

works great, better than competetors.
sewn edges sit below magnets, so it actually works, unlike some others. i'm skeptical of durability, but we'll see

Love em
Was a little weary but definitely glad I pulled the trigger. Use a few of these for loose tools on my service truck and they don't go anywhere!
