Living Basix LB200 Digital Oi-Free Fryer
I've had it for six months now, and use it a couple of times a week, mostly for breaded/coated meat (fish, chicken), French fries, onion rings, fried clams, hash browns. I used to do them in a toaster over, but this is so much easier, faster, and the cleanup much easier. The flavor is good, too. It is NOT a deep fryer, but what it does do, it does well (and I'm not pushing its capabilities. What would I change? Not a deal breaker, but the buttons are too hard to push. The clear plastic "flip cover" (don't know what to call it) on the handle comes off too easily, but it doesn't seem to be crucial. Most of the techniques for using it are covered in other reviews: learn how long items take (trial and error works fine), and if mixing items, stagger starting times for various items. I usually cook same size quantities, but I think more stuff takes a bit more time.Overall, very glad I bought it.I'm definitely glad I bought it.

Cooks Precooked and Fried Food Pretty Well
It works well for cooking precooked french fries, onion rings, cheese sticks, breaded shrimp, and chicken wings. I have not tried cooking any raw chicken wings or french fries yet. Clean up is easy and it doesn't require much counter space. I deducted one star because it normally takes longer to cook an item than the instructions state. Nevertheless, I am happy with the purchase and use the fryer about once or twice a week..

Love it!
So does it make thing like chicken taste fried. Yes it does and it tastes better, at least my family of 5 thinks so. The first thing I did was large chicken thighs (it holds 5 bone in). I marinated the chicken in Ranch dressing for several hours in a large zipper storage bag in the refrigerator. Took it out, rolled the chicken in season bread crumbs, then into the air frier. It took almost an hour at 375. Which is longer than cooked in an oven but so much better. So so much more moist, flavorful, and Yes, crunchy but not as crunchy as fried foods but the taste is worth the extra time. To make sure it doesn't stick be sure and turn the chicken half way through. Everything I have cooked in it has turned out great so far. Even great for warming up what you cooked too! I have warmed up other things I have cooked too, like sausages, potato patties, at 400 for 3 to 5 minutes with NO Preheating.

favorite purchase and excellent oil free cooker
This is one of my favorite purchase this year. I had so far tried stuffed chicken and butterfly shrimp as recommended and they are really delicious. Capacity is about 2 chicken at once and you cannot just throw bunch of ingredients into the basket or else it will not cook your food evenly. Unlike conventional oven that takes time to preheat and extended time to cook. The jet fryer is like a microwave that heats up right away. Imagine this as a microwave oven which u can cook food with oven like taste. If food is frozen like pre fried fries, then it will turn out tasting like deep fried French fries. If you want to add some crisp to standard ingredients , then make sure to put some olive oil and the jet fry will add some crisp to your food. The jetfrier do not come with recipe book so you have to really explore different combination of ingredients and free. You can also search online on different recommendation recipes. It is also extremely easy to clean and dishwasher safe. Of course, the best to this is it is oil free.

BUY THE PHILLIPS AIR FRYER INSTEAD
First bought this one and NOTHING ever got crispy in it...and I tried many different recipes ranging from no oil to a drop of oil to more oil. A friend raved about her Phillips and said everything gets really crispy in it. So, after being frustrated with my Living Basix I ordered a Phillips. Night and day difference. The Phillips fan is more powerful and the food DOES get crispy. So, in this case, you get what you pay for. Wish I would have bought the Phillips first but...lesson learned. Paleo chicken strips and sweet potato chips are absolutely awesome in this thing.

Perfect
I see that some people are complaining about cook time being long, which I don't see how is that possible. This Jetfry can heat and cook almost everything in 20 minutes or so.Here is a Receipt that worked out perfectly for me:roasted rosemary potatoes- 8 small red potatoes (quartered) or 3 large sweet potatoes (quartered)- salt and pepper- 1 tablespoon of olive oil- 1 or 2 teaspoon of minced fresh rosemarytoss potatoes with olive oil then add salt, pepper, and rosemary. Put potatoes in Jetfry basket and cook 400 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Shake the basket about half way through for even browning. If potatoes are not crispy, then reduce the amount in the fry basket. To learn how to use the Jetfry may require some experiment. Once you get the hang of it, then everything will taste awesome. The amount of food you can cook is about 2 people serving in the basket. Just don't put too much food in the basket so the heat can evenly distribute.

Great addition to my kitchen!!!
We love our new JetFry, and saw it on TV but decided to purchase from Amazon instead. It takes out all the mess and hassle of deep frying with oil and the results are simply delicious. It's really a great addition to my kitchen, and I use it to make French fries, onion rings, chicken, fish, and so much more. One of my favorite ways to use this fryer is to make breaded chicken cutlets. I take 1/2 cup of panko or seasoned bread crumbs, 1/2 cup of parmesan cheese, ground pepper and 2 good sized chicken breasts (not frozen). I pound the chicken so it's thin, dip the chicken in an egg wash, then in the cheese/bread crumb mixture, and spray with cooking spray. Set the fryer for 400 degrees and cook for about 10-15 minutes, depending on the size and thickness of the chicken. It turns out great and I don't miss the oil fried version either! Love this product and would recommend it to anyone.
