Will the case keep out random lint, hair, crumbs that can accumulate in a purse?

So far, so good! The case closes neatly and tightly. I haven't had it long, but I don't anticipate that will be a problem.

Will this case stick to a magnet? Some stainless steel is austenitic making them non-magnetic because of the nickel added. I need a pure steel case.

No, this will not attract magnets. I just tried here at my desk, and it's a no-go.

Does it come engraved or do I have to take it somewhere?

It comes blank. Ready for engraving.

can this be used as a trident chewing gum case

i'm sure it can. The inside will hold about a dozen business cards. Very nice containers.
