The harness we got is black and is trimmed in reflective edges for superb visibility! The top has a very sturdy handle for easy handling without choking the dog. This thing is very strong and built to handle a strong dog! It has very nice padding to keep the dog comfortable with enough stretch to allow comfortable movements. The clasps are very sturdy and lock in place tightly. Once you get the initial fitting of the straps just perfect to match the size of your dog it is super easy to put on and remove with the easy click of 2 clasps. The top and sides of the outside of the harness have a lot of Velcro so that you can add tactical gear very easily! I was a little leary of spending $40 on a harness but so glad we did...so worth it! We had always used collars but I didn't like the way it choked the dog and this harness is so much more comfortable for the dog and he is much more relaxed when walking on a leash now! I admit...the first time we put it on him and were adjusting the straps, he was terrified of it and was shaking but 5 minutes later he was absolutely fine once he realized it wasn't hurting him and we went on a walk.

I’ve been using this vest on my dog for probably four years. I replace it every two years, but I recommend replacing it every year. This is not due to a fault of the product because I have no problems with the vest, but I prefer the “better safe than sorry” approach when it comes to my dog. I ordered a size large for my ~85 pound Rottweiler mix. I appreciate the updated version, the reflective portions are a great touch and the vest seems sturdier, buckles seem a little heavier duty too. I purchased a tan vest and attached a pouch to the MOLLE panel, that way I’m able to keep a leash and some plastic bags on him. I would also recommend using a carabiner and collapsible water bowls if you take your animal on longer walks. Great hook and loop, I have a custom US Army name plate with his name as well as some of my other Army patches. This vest has never let me down, it’s sturdy, works great, looks great, and gets him plenty of compliments.

I was looking for a quality Harness for my 70lb GSD. I had purchased a slightly cheaper one from a competitor and when I received it I was stunned by how cheaply it was made and the two rings where a person attaches the leash are made out of plastic!!! I quickly sent it back and closely read the listing for this harness. AS an Engineer I was stunned by the quality and how well it was engineered. I wanted a harness to attach to the seat belt buckle for travel. I wanted a harness that would keep my dog restrained and safe in a car crash which can happen when you least expect it! My dog is 70lbs which is one "G Force" A severe car crash can cause maybe a "G Force of five! That means the stress on the harness will be 350lbs. 70lbs times five = 350 equivalent pounds of force! This harness is rated or tested to 1000lbs which gives a great safety margin for our dogs. The "Cheapo" harnesses will rip apart or snap the plastic ring for leash attachment probably with a low speed crash. With a medium or high speed crash you dog will become a missile and either take you head off and or crash thru a side window or the windshield . I have "high expectations" and it's very seldom a "good sounding" listed product meets them when you actually get them in your hands! This harness actually EXCEEDS MY EXPECTATIONS for safety & quality. I will totally trust this harness with my GSD. Look at the hundreds of harnesses for sale at Amazon, but you would be foolish not to buy this one! I bought the one with "reflective stitching" which is "stunningly beautiful" at night. I can't believe they don't charge more for this feature. I usually don't write reviews, especially long ones. However this is a product that "under promises and over delivers" and therefore was worth my time consuming "two finger" typing of this review. They have a very large selection of colors and be sure to get the reflective stitching model.

We got the Large for our elderly 56-lb pit bull. It looked cool, but probably the best part is the handle on the back. She has arthritis so sometimes she sways, wobbles, and just loses her balance so the handle made it easier to hold her up and keep her steady. It was also so helpful when getting her in and out of the car because we need to lift her. I highly recommend for that reason. However, one star was deducted because it is not easy to put in, and because she was so uncomfortable in it. Ideally, we'd keep a comfortable, lightweight harness on her most of the time just for convenience (we wake her up every 4-5 hours to potty since she doesn't quite know how to ask) but it wasn't an option with this one. We would especially have loved to keep this one on her because it's not exactly quick and easy to put on. It's sturdy, yes, but also very firm with not very much give. She actually couldn't handle this harness on a car ride; since she has bad legs she NEEDS to sit/lie down frequently, but the harness had her standing in pain for an entire ride, because the harness was so uncomfortable to lie down in. I had to pull over and take it off so she could rest. I get that it's "tactical" and not exactly meant for comfort - but I do wish there was more give or had a softer material to line it. Additionally, and this might just be the way she's built, the back of it lifted so high up. It fit really well in the front, but for some reason, it lifted. Despite it not working with my dog, I would still recommend it for service dogs, dogs that frequent the park, or dogs that go with their humans on adventures of all kinds as it will definitely hold up to the task at hand. The velcro gives you a canvas to put any kind of patches you want so you can make it look cool and custom! Really wish we could've done that.

We buy one of these about every six months. I have a 75 pound German shepherd who loves to chase deer. We use a cable that is good for dogs up to 150 pounds. He breaks those too. It’s rocky where we live and lots of trees so he can get caught up in the trees and rocks and just keeps pulling til it gives way. This is by far the best harness we’ve found. It lasts a lot longer than any we’ve tried. I’ve attached a picture of the chest loop from two nights ago when he got loose. I can’t imaging the strength it took to break and bend this, but he did it. Got a new one in today. I don’t use the top loop because he’d take off and drag me over the rocks!!! Update - another one bites the dust!

The size is perfect. Velcro is very heavy duty can't wait to put some patches on it. I really do love how it's double stitched it has a handle on it It's got heavy duty clips tactical It's amazing This is by far the best hardest I have ever bought my dog. It's not even heavy but it's heavy duty. I've got to say the value for money is where it's at It is so worth the money I if I get another dog I'm going to buy another one because it's worth it. Very easy and functional to take it off the dog very easy to put it on and comfortable. I absolutely love the reflective lining on it as well so that way you can see when it's dark where he is as well. 10 out of 10 recommend especially if you feel your dog is hyper and loves to pull I can literally hold his lead with my pinky.

I bought reflective black in a size Medium. The straps tighten perfectly and easily I love how you can tuck them in so it doesn’t show. The reflection is amazing and can be seen from far away when any lights hit it. My 4 month old Belgian Malinois fits comfortably in it and doesn’t scratch, she can run freely with no problems. The handle is perfect it doesn’t choke her and she is easy to grab when she runs. Overall this harness if perfect and great for strong energetic dogs who like to run.

I got this for my husband's service dog after it was recommended by the organization where he got his service dog. The straps are easy to adjust and it's form fitting to his 65 pound Schnoodle. There is plenty of room for his service patches, including the chest panel, so people can see from all directions that he is working. The vest is well constructed with heavy stitching and the dog spends up to 10 hours a day wearing it with no issues.

He cogido la Talla M para un bulldog inglés y perfecto, está acolchado y con las 4 correas se puede ajustar perfectamente. El material se ve resistente y los cierres de delante están muy bien.

El arnés es genial aunque a mí perro le lastimaba en la parte entre la pata y el cuerpo pues le rozaba , hay que ajustar bien
