Regalo para mi hija de 8 años, quería un microscopio y decidí comprarle algo bueno que no se quedara pequeño y deseché las opciones de microscopios para niños. Fue un acierto, lo maneja sin problemas y la calidad es excelente. Lo compre con placas preparadas de la misma marca.

Great Starter Scope!
My kids and I have really enjoyed this microscope. It was a birthday gift for my 8 year old but I think I have enjoyed it at least as much as he has. I looked at the microscopes marketed for kids and they were all garbage so I decided to get him something that was less of a toy and more of a tool. It's sturdy enough to be abused by an 8 year old and the prepared slides are really fun. I recommend getting slide kits so you can create your own as well. I have actually been able to get decent pictures by cramming my iPhone camera in to the eyepiece. We have looked at cat whiskers, blood (it was mine, extracted via pinprick; don't worry!), leaves, you name it. It's a great learning tool.
