Walt Disney's The Jungle Book: Making a Masterpiece [Walt Disney Family Museum]

I bought this book for my mother who is an artist and passionate about Disney. She loved! The content is rich and beautiful!

When I first heard about Andreas' Jungle Book project I couldn't help thinking, "Why is he bothering? Nobody could top Pierre Lambert's lavish book on the same subject." I was wrong. Two things make this book very special, (1) Andreas is a master animator who gets what makes the movie work and (2) he has a well known knack ---evidenced practically everyday on his blog--for coaxing folks into loving the artwork he loves ---and, boy, does he love the cels, drawings and backgrounds of Disney's Jungle Book [and not just the production art ---he's pretty head over heals with the pre and post production stuff too]. Bottom line? If you want to view this classic piece of animation through the eyes of someone who plainly & really & truly adores it... and the artists who made it ---here's your chance.

Came in good condition and is a great read. Awesome selection of art and great insight into the movie’s production. Definitely recommend!
