Zvezda Models 1/35 T-90 Russian Main Battle Tank

This is without the best model kit I have ever built in my life. Almost zero flash you have to clean. The best Turret and Hull details I have ever seen. Good clear parts for periscopes. Great mesh for engine deck. This kit is NOT ment for beginners or newer modelers. Took me about 3-4 weeks to build.

Pleasantly surprised when the kit arrived well before the estimated delivery date. This is the first Zvesda kit I've purchased and I am very impressed with the quality of the molding and detail of parts. Comparable to kits twice the price. I will certainly be looking at Zvezda kits more. Highly recommend to intermediate and advanced builders.

Typical of this Russian company this model is complicated, doesn't need an aftermarket kit, god knows there are enough small details and clear parts, but has a uncomplicated track. Be careful assembling the ERA, it doesn't fit without checking the turret clearance with the upper hull first before glueing. Clear instructions for the most part, but had to drill out some holes to get parts to fit. Vendor had to be reminded to ship the model, but it arrived in two days and lots of pictures on the internet to reference. Not a hard build, but a must for the Russian tank builder!

I bought two of these for the price of a MENG T-90, and still havent finished one after a month, no worries though as I dont get much time per day to build it. If you are truly dedicated to building this kit, it should take 4-15 days. I do recommend getting liquid mask and either clear dark brown or clear red paint from Tamiya. The only fiddly part is the turret and IRCM mounts, super accurate but tiny parts. Some unique things about this kit are definitely the antenna for the turret(which I’ve never seen in a kit before, super thin.), and a fabric/plastic screen for the engine bay. Overrall: Build enjoyment: 9.5/10 Quality: 9.5/10 Quality for price: 11/10 Part count: Reasonable for detail Part fit quality: 9.7/10 Is this kit worth it? Ab-so-lutely. But if you are a beginner, I do recommend TAMIYA, Academy, or simpler Trumpeter kits first. TAKOM, MENG, RFM, and some newer ZVEZDA kits have been reaching the realms of unreasonable detail.

Stunningly great detail....goes together like butter

I started building tanks a little while back after a 30+ year hiatus. Since getting back into the hobby I have built around 25 tanks. I built SEVERAL easier ( read Tamiya ) kits before tackling the T 90. Like most things, patience will take you a long way. This is not a quick build, and I would only recommend it for adults. Yes, the IR lights are tricky but doable. This kit is stunning when painted in the high contrast Russian scheme. Add some Mylar for your optics and this kit is a jewel,one of my favorite builds along with the Tamiya Abrams tusk/Sep 3.

Very good model, lots of details. Was my first model I tried to built. Definitely not for beginners, but I managed to put it together and it still looked badass!

For Zvezda, this is the best model kit they ever made. Manual isn't good as Tamiya or Academy. Build isn't easy as Tamiya but close enough as Academy. I wish the track is separated pin one or just rubber track. Overall.. decent T-90 kit out there for affordable price, not the like meng models.

久しぶりの、海外プラモデル作成 昔の、MPC等のスターウォーズプラモデル泣かされていましたが パーツ分割の細かさにびっくり TAMIYAが3パーツ位で再現する機銃などは10パーツ以上あります。 若干合いがオカシイ部品やすぐに折れてしまうパーツはありますが、作りごたえと 精密感はバッチリです。 ガンプラとかTAMIYAとかしか作ったこと無い方は厳しいかもしれませんが スケールモデラーにはお薦めです。 Armour Modelling (アーマーモデリング) 2012年 05月号 と合わせて買うと完璧です。

excellent model kit. Over the years I've been a staunch fan of Tamiya kits in the 1/35 scale. The Zvezda T90 is the first time I've come across this kit. The detail is brilliant. This is not a model for the beginner to modelling. Have just put the finishing touches to the Zvezda King Tiger, another excellent kit from this company, well worth the money, top quality throughout. Highly recommend this kit.

Buena maqueta de Zvezda, nada que ver con los kits de los 80/90. Piezas de las dos primeras variantes (T-90/T90A) aunque sólo se puede montar una, las cadenas son las de doble pin de montaje por tramos (ni de vinilo ni de eslabones individuales). Plástico gris claro, fácil de trabajar y con bastante buenos encajes. No está al nivel de detalle o complejidad de Meng o Trumpeter, pero altamente recomendable por su relación calidad-precio.

Il kit è assolutamente ottimo, plastiche ottime, dettagli perfetti a volte con pezzi veramente piccolissimi,ma con pazienza e volontà si ottiene sicuramente un capolavoro I cingoli non sono sono in vinile attenzione ai meno esperti. Ho deciso di usare le livree russe attuali nel conflitto ukraino Kit 10/10
