Not my fav
Cute compression socks are a nice concept, but I didn't like these. They are very plasticky. There is no arch support. The color was labeled as gray, but was a muted navy (versatile and nice, though). The deal breaker was that the ones I bought, with the little Xs all over, left little Xs imprinted all over my legs. I don't think that's a good idea.I'm 5'10"-5'11", feet 10-10.5, calf 14.5", size 6 overall. Naturally, I followed instructions and bought L/XL. The little Xs of the design were stretched out to double their size on my calf. Yeah, not so cute. One of the reviews is titled "XL for a toddler," and there is merit to that.Dahlgren makes my favorite ski socks, and I found out they make compression socks, so maybe I'll check those out. By contrast, in those I wear a medium. After my experience with these, I started to wonder if a lot of the reviews, all so positive!, were by people who work for the company.

Ignore the size chart.
Here’s the skinny on sizing. I wear 9.5W shoe and my calves are 16”. I bought both sizes and the L/XL (which I sized for) was HUGE. Too long in the toe, and way too long in the calf. Who the heck has 3’ tibias? I have a 32” inseam the the L/XL went over my knees. Like almost thigh highs! The S/M was tight in the calf, but fit well in the foot and was an appropriate length.Unless you are 6+ feet tall and wear an 11/12 shoe, you’ll be a S/M.

Pleasantly surprised
I bought the L/XL...I am a little over 5'7 (size 7.5 shoe) with calf circumference 14.25 ish....so rt between sizes....I am happy with this size, as anything smaller would have been too tight on my legs (and still it is not too big for my feet). This size is nice bc lots of compression (sl. more than I thought), but the top is not cutting off circulation. I can see how the length may be a problem for someone shorter, though, bc these come rt up to my knee w possibly a tiny room to stretch. The fabric is heavier than I expected, but not itchy like some other brands I have tried and looks like it will hold up well. Amazon sent me solid black vs. black lotus pattern I ordered, but I will keep them. So far, I would recommend these and will likely order more. I work in health care and am on my feet or sitting w legs tucked at less than 90 deg. most of the day...I bought them for spider veins and leg fatigue/restlessness.

Legs feel great
I don't have any leg issues, but bought these on the reviews as I walk or run. They make my legs feel great. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is that, like all the compression socks, they are really tight at the top and left a mark around my leg.

Comfortable & Effective
I've had Lilly Trotters before and was very excited to see them on Amazon! They are the most comfortable compression socks I have owned and I have multiple pairs to help keep my blood pressure elevated.

LOVE
have been wearing them for my Marathon training and wore them in the race yesterday. LOVE THEM. Cute and helped my legs feel as good as they possibly could while racing. I also wear them during the day after training and at night if I'm super sore. I have 2 pairs and am super happy!

These are perfect for long road trips
These are perfect for long road trips, airplane rides, long days on your feet, and even snowboarding! I lent mine to my mother-in-law who had flown in shortly after an ankle surgery. Her leg was hugely swollen. After wearing Lily Trotters for most of the day, the swelling was diminished dramatically and she ordered a pair of her own for her flight back.I can't say enough good about these cute compression stockings!
