I ordered a new book and received a used book. I was going to use it as a gift and now I can't gift a used book.

This is my second purchase of this book...I lost the first book during a move. Anyway, this book helps to guide my written thoughts into the direction of being precise and to the point. I love it!

I swear by this book. It has gotten me out of a number of sticky situations where I didn't know what to say. I have studied it before interviews for good phrases and vocabulary words to use. I have used it a number of times for writing thank you notes, rejection letters and notes of congratulations. I have also studied it for verbal communications to know better how to handle situations of death, injury or heartbreak that would have made me absolutely speechless. This book is absolutely priceless. It is an excellent reference guide for any situation.

My old copy that I purchased an eternity ago was falling apart. I absolutely love this book. It covers every occasion and if you are ever stuck for words when writing, this is the ticket. I wouldn't be without it. Glad that I found a new copy on amazon.

this is a handy book to have around the office or home to assist me to find the right words and even when I'm mentally stuck. A great buy. I bought a couple extra copies for my adults kids. I do have one at the office and one at home. Very practical.

I write a number of documents in business, school, and organizational settings and I like having a writing reference for my use.I used to have a 2nd edition of this book in its paper format when I was still living in the states, and when I came here, I decided to also invest in the E-book version so I wouldn't have to lug around that hardback book.Wonderful book.
