Can I plant my alata in mushroom compost?

It should be planted in sphagnum moss. Thanks!

Is it really going to be what it show's and says it's going to be?

My plant shipped in perfect condition, it was considerably smaller than I expected. (But then I only paid $12.) Hopefully it will grow. It has 5 small "pitchers" on it

Hi. What does the plant come with?

The plants may not be what you expect. Check size of container. Small will be VERY SMALL. May not gave pitchers. May have a few leaves. Pics tend to be of mature plants. Only one I ordered was even close to the pic. You probably will be your own pot and special soil (orchid type soil).

Are you supposed to feed the plant?

No. But I have done occasionally. I use meal worms or grubs. It is important to see that liquid remains in the pitchers, and never water with tap water. In nature plants would be subject to rainfall. They hate rich soil and fertilizer follow guidelines sent by growers or online. Don’t over feed.
