This review is for " Universal Garage Door Seal 6m, Multipurpose Garage Door Rubber Seal Strip, Garage Door Bottom Seal Strip Weather Stripping with Nails.: I used it on the bottom of my steel up and over door. Installation was easy. I cleaned the surface first with soap and water, then with white spirits. The adhesive held firmly. But I knew that no adhesive would be able to withstand the applied force when the door was opening. So I used self-drilling screws with washers, spacing them about 150mm apart, and doubling them at each end. After resetting the door opener (to allow it to adjust to the increased opening force), it worked flawlessly. I used brush-bristle seal on the sides and top. Drafts are eliminated, even on the windiest days!

Wanted to seal the gap at the bottom of a new up and over door. The product appears robust and flexible enough but the self adhesive tape seems to be on the wrong side of the strip. I fitted the strip with a 3M double sided adhesive tape and self tapping bolts. It will keep out leaves, rain and vermin. It won't stop heavy flooding but that was not my objective when installing.

Good quality and easy to fit. You may need to use self tapping screw's or nut and bolts if the tape does not work. It may lift the door a very small amount which may make door more difficult to close and lock. Update used the tape supplied which started to come off going to have to use screws and washers. I fitted this seal to the inside edge of the garage door which has a gap of 15 to 20 mm. It just produced some resistance when opening but expect that to ease up as the rubber accommodates the shape of the concrete. Self adhesive is good for positioning but I would not trust to keep it in place so I used self tapping metal screws and washers every 15cm to hold it in place. I put a Plastic strip along the top edge and clear exterior silicon to seal all the gaps on the corrugations of the door. This sealed off almost all the wind blowing in immediately making the garage warmer. I then glued some foil insulation on the inside of the door and this transformed it to another level. So now the garage is warmer and I'm sure the heat loss to the rooms above the garage will be greatly reduced.

Added this to the bottom of the garage door due to the drains being overwhelmed in heavy rain and the garage flooding (garage has never seen a car but is full of "stuff") I had thought I would need to screw the seal to the door, but the adhesive strip appears to be fine and the strip has stopped all but the smallest amount of water getting into the garage (due largely to me cutting the seal a tiny bit short) - the garage isn't "dry" but a whole lot less water is getting in

Je l'ai installé sur ma porte de garage depuis longtemps et il ne se décolle pas, c'est parfait.
