PK7800SKSS Electric Combination Wall Oven, Solid Black

We purchased the 27" GE Profile Combination Wall Oven and Microwave, to replace an older GE combo that stopped functioning. Positive: 1. The unit looks really nice. 2. It fit exactly in the opening of the old unit. No need to make changes to the cabinetry. Installation was really easy. The most challenging part was lifting the 200-lb oven up in the cabinet. I used a hydraulic lifting table, that made the job simple. Two strong enough people could conceivably be able to lift the unit into the opening, but the risk of dropping the oven, while negotiating the tight cabinet opening was way too high to even consider the option. 3. The microwave is really a microwave/convection oven/warmer unit. Super useful. And some negatives: 1. A couple of small sheet metal screws fell off as I unpacked the unit from its shipping box. I couldn't find an obvious place where they came from, so I simply ignored them. I saved them, and if at a later time notice any buzzing, I'll simply use them to secure the sheet metal. But this is disappointing for an oven that costs over $3K. I docked one star for this. 2. The oven came with a bunch of screws in various bags. No detail in the installation instructions or any labeling as to what each screw is for. I used some for mounting the oven to the cabinet, but several others had no obvious function. Poor attention to detail, in my opinion. As to how well the oven functions, only time will tell. So far we have warmed a cup of water, and it worked well. :) And a few good words for the seller: There was a complication with the transaction when I purchased the oven, so I had to place a new order. The seller's representative was extremely cordial, and went out of her way to ensure that I wouldn't be sent two ovens, and got back to me to let me know she had taken care of it. The oven arrived on schedule, and the two employees who brought in the oven were very careful with handling it, and polite as well. A very nice purchasing experience overall.

Beautiful oven with great features such as a proof setting and probe to stick in your turkey. Top unit is a microwave and convection oven which was a nice surprise. A little spendy. Hope it lasts a long time.
