Yummy tea
This tea has good freshness (not sure that's the right word for tea leaves, but...) and it works well with my small-mesh diffuser mug inserts. It took a little experimenting to get the right amount for each cup, but now I'm enjoying this tea. There is some depth the the flavor after a long steep. I used to use two tea bags per 16-ounce cup, and I would steep it a long time to get some bitterness. It's difficult to get any bitterness with this loose tea, which most users will appreciate. I prefer a little bitterness, and I can get a little bitter aftertaste if I steep this a long, long time. I may experiment with other flavors that are more suited to the taste I'm aiming for (probably Asam). But I love not having to taste the carboard flavor of a tea bag; I'll never go back now that I've experienced the difference. And I'm saving a ton of money vs. bags.

Great for the price
I've been drinking this almost daily since 2016. It's a good daily drinking tea for this price. It's not as delicious as the teas I occasionally buy that are $60 a pounds, but it is a lot better than other teas I've found at this price

Insanely weak, requires TABLESPOONS per cup
Normally you put 2 teaspoons in a cup, this calls for 1- 2.5 TABLESPOONS per cup. It is actually a little difficult to fit that much tea in. I steep it forever, way longer than normal 4-5mins just so it has any flavor, and the flavor is OKAY. I have Happy Valley Darjeeling to compare it to, and there is no comparison. Yes HV is substantially more expensive than this tea. But you think it's a good value for a pound of tea, when you factor in how much you have to use, it's really not a good buy.

Authentic Darjeeling
We have been drinking Darjeeling tea for years. Typically we'd bring back a years supply from our trips to India. Due to Covid this was not possible. We searched for various common teas to find a substitute - Bigelow's came close, especially their English Breakfast and Earl Grey. Then a friend told us about this tea. We love it - it is as close to the familiar teas we'd bring back from India as one could get. Good flavor, good color. We use a 'in cup' tea infuser. One tea spoon, brewed for 2 minutes is great with a touch of milk. If you want tea without milk then brew it a bit less. The water we use is heated to boiling in an electric tea kettle.

Latest batch of Darjeeling dissapointing
This has been my go-to Darjeeling for a while now, great flavor and one of the best Darjeelings I've ever had. Unfortunately, the latest batch doesn't hold up, it has an odd flavor to it, a bit like hay or straw, kind of ruins the tea. It still smells the same, but the flavor is really off. Sad to say, I won't be buying it again.

Fresh and delicious
I just switched to loose tea and was looking for a good brand with interesting flavors. Well my prayers are answered with this brand tea. Positively thee best I've ever had. The sent and flavor are noticeable right away. Perfect brew every time. I love it. So far I've tried the darjeerling. I also bought a pound of asam which I can't wait to get brewing.

My Go-to Tea Company
While this review focuses on the Positively Tea Darjeeling, I'm going to digress to talk about their teas in general. Overall, I've been happily buying Positively Tea for years: I drink a lot of tea, and I'm too snobby to drink supermarket sachets but not rich enough to afford Teavana or David's Tea in the quantities that I require. Positively Tea has become my all-purpose go-to: when I need large amounts of "standard" teas like Darjeeling or Gunpowder I order from them. Their teas have had consistently good quality, full leaves, and delicate aromas. The Darjeeling continues these trends. Is is as sophisticated as a really high-end Darjeeling? Of course not. But at this price, for organic leaves, Positively Tea is hard to beat IMHO.
