Bought two!
I bought two of these to put together and added a door in the middle. Iโm making a Christmas doll house for my friend who loves Christmas year round. I plan to buy more of these houses but not the Christmas ones, and make the bedroom and kitchen and decorate it with a Christmas theme so I have an entire Christmas doll house. I used hot glue (out of frustration) and Gorilla wood glue, the hot glue was because the sides were giving me problems joining together, maybe because I am disabled and have one working hand, or maybe I frustrate easily; but the hot glue was great to pin it in place while the wood glue dried, then I easily removed the hot glue dots and it held up beautifully! The furniture and other items were easy and fun; very meditative to do it! The wallpaper is pretty much paper, so when I glued it down it bubbled, even though I followed the directions and made a thin layer and let it dry a bit before placing the paper. I would suggest painting it or getting a sample wallpaper in a Christmas color and use actual wallpaper. I love the music box it came with! Any other easy installation. Because I bought two, I didnโt need a second coffee table, so I placed it sideways and added shelves to make it into a bookcase. The plates are just paper, so let your imagination run and cut out a plastic water bottle and glue the paper plate to it for more durability and weight (if you donโt use the enclosed dust cover, a breeze will blow over the plates). I then purchased a Heidi Ott doll, and cut the armatures and sewed her up to make her four inches tall, she sits beautifully on the couch and the house is a good fit for her four inches. If you want to have a meditative and fun project then go ahead and buy this! Itโs a great gift idea whether itโs assembled by you, or if you let the gift recipient assemble it. Itโs one of those things you didnโt know how much you wanted until you got one kind of gift. I love mine and wish I had bought one sooner!

Very detailed
Very tedious but not in a bad way. Itโs SO cute. The lights didnโt work after the first time I used them but that might be faulty wiring on my part.

Cute and Creative
This was a fun, quick project for me where the most time-consuming part was the sofa. I don't normally upholster my own miniature furniture, so it was a pleasant challenge. There were plenty of materials to work with and extra where necessary. The design also allows for creativity in the overall layout of the smaller details. I opted to not include the turkey on the coffee table because I wanted to add some cats to the scene (purchased separately). No poultry within paw's reach would have survived, anyway, but I needed the space for the items that otherwise would have been on the sofa. The LED wiring could benefit from an additional length for extension. Drawing everything around that back corner and making sure everything securely attached to the battery pack was a little difficult. I had to seal the wire ends with insulating craft glue to prevent them from pulling apart if the miniature got jostled.

SOOOOOOO CUTE!!!!!!
I love this so much!!!! The instructions might require a magnifying glass though- lol. Some of them are difficult to tell what's going on in the pic. But it is so adorable and challenging and totally NOT for the 9 year old that I thought might enjoy it but a blast for me as an adult that likes tiny things. It's a lot of work and takes patience but it is so freaking cute!!!!

Fun to make
This is a fun room to make. I spent about 2-3 hours a day so took about a week to complete. The music box plays We Wish You a Merry Christmas which is awesome. The most challenging part is the couch but if you're experienced making them it's not too bad. You will need your own glue and batteries. The kit includes everything else. Its a great addition to Christmas decorations.

Awful product
Instructions arenโt good at all. Parts arenโt really labeled great. Directions says it comes with glue but does not. The pictures items you have to cut out instead of punch out like other kits. I highly recommend spending the money on Rolife kit. Directions are amazing those kits come with glue and double sided sticky tape. All the parts and pieces are great quality. I do not recommend this brand at all. Started building today and itโs coming out awful!

Decent diarama if you catch it on sale
I was able to acquire this diarama while it was 40% off. I would say that this kit is best for someone who is already experienced with creating miniatures because the materials you are given are cutting it close and there are times where you may need to improvise an alternate solution. The kit is cute overall! I'm about 3/4 of the way completed, with the couch and tree decoration left to do before finally hooking up the lights. Will include the complete photo but for now have some in-progress ones! PROS: - Comes with a full kit of utensils; the only thing it's missing is batteries and glue (understandably). - It does give you extra wood squares in case you end up wanting to make another couch cushion. - A good mixture of paper, wood, and plastic decorations. - The wood is decent quality and already cut out for you; no breaking pieces out of molds and hoping for no splinters! - The tiny decorations for the tree are actually very cute. CONS: - You're cutting it very close with some of the materials given. Just barely enough wire, missing wood piece(s) for the couch (luckily it is the same thickness as cardboard and will be completely covered in cloth, so I simply cut out a piece and used it as a replacement for the missing wood square), etc. - The type of dried plant you are given is not made to be glued and bent around a wire. You may have to get creative with the creation of the holiday wreath above the fireplace unless you want to struggle with that plant material. In my case I used green fruit tootsie roll wrappers. - Most kits come with extras of the paper decorations as they're extremely easy to create a duplicate of; you don't get paper extras except for 2 teeny tiny cutouts. You do, however, have a decent amount of the red and white cloth in case you want to make some felt designs or something. - The wires for the lights are all the same length but the different areas they're being used around the diarama means some of those wires are being stretched quite far. You may have to (gently) wrestle with them. - One of the provided lights did not work. Fortunately they give you two for the tree and it looks just as good only using 1. - The kit has no way to hide the battery box in the back. Create your own battery holder.

decent quality, fun build
I meant to finish this in December 2023, but I JUST did at the end of January 2024. ๐ I was partly slowed down by the fact that my music box was BROKEN (unrepairable) and I had to order a replacement from AliExpress (luckily, I was somehow able to find one with the Christmas song), which is why I deducted one star. Also: sorry for the mic pops in my video; I had my palm too close to the mic ๐ Anyway, the build itself was fairly straightforward. I don't know about some of these other reviews as the needles on my tree DID NOT fall off. The garlands were the most fragile and pieces of them did fall off while I tried to glue them in place (especially the green one) but that's not a big deal. The biggest problem I had was figuring out the wiring, which also wasn't as seamless as I'd hoped (one of them runs all the way across the floor from the table, which made it impossible to hide). The wall lamp was a terrible time, trying to put that together (they ask you to put a metal piece through a bead, which doesn't even fit) and then later I realized the "extra" wooden beads I had destroyed had a different purpose: the inside of the little gift boxes you put in the tree. ๐คฃ Also, you are asked to stick a metal piece inside of a clear (plastic? silicone? idk) tube to make the table lantern/candle holder - I had to soak the clear tube in hot water to expand it, which was the only way to make it fit over the metal piece. But I made it work! Overall I think it turned out alright. The key to these projects is good tools, patience, and the right glues (and knowing when to use them). ๐๐ป
