GrovTec PB Base to Stud Adapter

A little pricey but provides lots of options when it comes to slings and interchangeable gear.

i am a big fan of QD attachment points for slings.Unfortunately, I have firearms that come with the standard long gun swivel connection points. These are 'ok' for slings that stay on the firearm using the correct attachment , but it takes time to change them out, disconnect them, etc. if you use the same sling on several long guns.So, this product fills a gap for me. It attaches to the standard long gun swivel connection point but provides a QD attachment on the other end. This way I do not have to modify the long gun.compared to some other stuff one finds around it is a bit pricey, but it is high quality, made in USA and a high precision item.recommended

Finally got a QD set-up for a no frills stock.For starters, Im left handed.I wanted a QD set-up as "ambidextrous".That way i could fire left or right handed w/out the sling being in my way no matter what.Best way was to link to the bottom of my stock vs connecting to the left/right side of stock specifically.It Sucked looking seeing that female QD's have less options than male QD's.The Grovtec "GTSL117" i was not fond of cause it kept slipping out where i was trying to link.Here's what i ended up with.only down fall for some, not silent for playing "pew-pew-boo" at night.Im sure some good 'ol tape around the metal could help w/ that

Heavy duty steel construction. Quick disconnect swivel fits tight and swivel action works great. This is the only ones Ive seen like this. Now that the price has gone down to where it needs to be this is a great price for a great product. $20.77

These sling adapters work well they are just expensive . Normally I would drill into the stock and use qd cups. This build was a little different due to mfg stock. These adapters provided me a quick and easy solution. All things being equal, I prefer to drill multiple mounting points and use the inlaid qd cups. These adapters are made well and I would recommend them if needed.

These worked just as I anticipated. The only 2 drawbacks are the price and functionality. First of all, these are way overpriced for what they are. However, when you are just about the only provider of this style item I guess you can charge what you want! Secondly, they do not rotate as freely on a standard swivel stud as I would like. Nevertheless, the do provide enough functionality to be successfully utilized. The only reason I am providing 5 stars rather than 4 is that this manufacturer is the only one that I could find that provided this style adapter. For that I give you 5 stars on this item. For a while I thought I had maybe came up with a marketable idea! Lol Then I found these. There is room for improvement on the design but I am a100% happy customer. With
