I bought this to strain goat's milk. It's sturdy. Easily rests on top of a pitcher. Catches absolutely everything. And is easy to clean. I like to wash it and toss into dishwasher for disinfecting. If you are looking for an easier way of straining milk. This is it! Also: it sits on top of a funnel very easily. So i can strain and funnel milk in one easy step.

I use this to strain cooking oil. The fine mesh works well for filtering oil once it has cooled. It's also easy to clean and reuse. However, extremely hot oil can damage the plastic mesh, so it's important to let the oil cool down before straining.

We use these for multiple things. 1st we uses these for milking our goats put over the gallon jug and milk away does a great job keeping all the stuff out of the milk and use another one when staining the milk into the glass jar.
