i can't imagine why the coconut dark chocolate bar's recipe was changed. the new bars are gross, taste sweeter and they have less protein in them than the old ones. i used to eat one a day (as a vegetarian who struggles to get enough protein). i'm bummed i'm going to have to find a new bar.

With the package change evidently the inside changed too because these are not as good and also very melty.

Please go back to the old recipe. The bars in the new packaging are not good.

Just ok tasting. also chocolate exterior melts more rapidly than the old bars. Now I have discovered that they changed the recipe from the Blue package bars. I should have bought the old ones.

Like some others have said, these are way meltier, and the texture is now crumbly. The flavor is not as good either. These were my go-to protein bar but now I have to go on the hunt again.

Although Zing seemed to have reformulated and I am getting used to a slightly different consistency (their bars have a creamier texture than they used to and I used to like them more firm and coarse), the flavors are still delicious. The creamier texture clings to my teeth a little more but I've decided that the convenience of getting some necessary nutrients into my body with low added sugar and a bunch of organic and non-gmo ingredients when on-the-go is worth it. I have come to really like the cherry ones - and I don't usually like anything cherry/cherry flavored, but the tart cherry pieces are yummy.

I love these bars.
