These clippers are amazing, they cut so good, an its not loud, light weight, and holds a charge forever, easy to clean, overall a great product and the price is great as well, get salon clippers without paying the high price.

Cuts closer than my existing clippers, though not as close as the commercials suggest
I do a 12 o'clock shadow look and can attest that this cuts closer than my Remington plug-in classic razer with both with no guards. That said, the commercials had me hopeful it would be so close I could avoid using my straight razor and just trim the edges with this. Not really. The first time I used it I didn't think it was significantly closer, but the second when I did my whole face it was pretty obvious this is better/closer. They look very cool, and the battery readout is pretty sweet to know how soon you need to charge it. My Remington technically can be removed from the cord but loses the strength/power compared to when it's plugged in. These do not. The one place I'll say they are inferior is I also use the Remington one to shave my own back and shoulders. This item does a closer shave, but the angle of the blade is not as useful and it's short and not as easy to use. If you had someone using it to shave your back it would be an upgrade over traditional as well, but less easy to use on yourself.

Good, but no cigar
The trimmer seems to be made well, it has some weight to it... it feels solid. However, that doesnt matter if you cant use it. It arrived right on time just as stated by Amazon but when I opened the box I found that the guards were broken. The trimmer comes with 3 blade guards but when I go through the included accessories, I find that 2 of the 3 guards are broken. If you look at the pics I uploaded, you can see how they arrived. I gave the trimmer 3 stars because it feels nice and solid in your hand, the device doesn't feel cheap at all. I havent used it yet because of the guard situation, I'll have to see if the guards from my trusted go to trimmer fit or this thing may be going back.
