I know this is probably a very uncommon issue but just be warned it can happen. I bought this cord for my streaming setup and it was working fine for about 30 minutes then all of a sudden my PC just shut down. I tried everything, and I figured out everytime I plug this specific cord into my computer, into any port with or without anything attached it will instantly black screen and kill my computer. After reaching out to CableMod about this issue they told me to send a picture of the cord cut in half so they could send a new one however when I sent the picture I got a surprising reply which said "this image is photoshopped and we will no longer be helping you on this case". I emailed them back with a video of the cut cord, no response... I tried again and again and they just completly ignored me, terrible service. Luckily Amazon was nice enough to refund me even though they technically didn't have to. THANKS AMAZON!

i have a liquid cooled loop with 2 3090 gpus. i plugged this thing into my new keyboard, did some cable managing on my desk and booted up and nothing would work. shut down my power supply and it made a bad noise, assuming my system was fried i spend 1300 bucks on new motherboard, new wires, power supplies and everything. drained my loop, took everything apart and everything looked and tested fine. so i put it back together with my original parts and it worked fine. plugged it all in and didnt work again. pulled this plug out and booted fine. this cable has taken 1500 dollars and 2 days of work away from me at this point and i would recommend everyone stay far, far away...

I just received the cable and 2 things jumped out. First the sleeving is a very shiny nylon. This is a look that I did not expect from the photos and was not expressed in the description. I would have not purchased this cable if I knew how shiny it was. Second, the aviator connector powder coating is uneven and had several flaws. There are flat spots that look like it was struck. There are also very bright green spots where it looks like the coating chipped. This stands out against black. Unfortunate with only 1 day of ownership.I question the long term durability of this cable.
