This is a superb kit, relatively simple to install, great quality and wonderful design.If I was doing this again or offer some advice, I would buy the next size smaller than you think as it is far easier to leave some unimportant floor area unheated than trying to loose wire the kit to use up the whole length of heating element, my bad..Thoroughly recommended!

I used the Living Haet underfloor heating to make our kitchen a better place on colder days. We live in central Brittany, France. Our house is built from solid granite blocks, the walls are ½ a metre thick. The kitchen floor is made from reinforced concrete and sucks the warmth from the room.I used the 6mm insulation tiles from Living Heat and then laid the 200w (per square metre) heating mat over the top of this. On top of the heating mat, I have laid 10mm ceramic floor tiles . From the picture, you can see that our Dog is very happy with this arrangement.The floor takes about 20 minutes to heat up, is lovely to walk on and has made the kitchen a warm welcoming place.I will be ordering more of these mats for the Toilet, Bathroom and hallway.The only downside is that the supplied controller/thermostat is a bit complex to set up as a timed switch. As a thermo-switch, it works very well. I like being able to switch the floor on by cell phone an hour before we get home.Very impressed
