Tried this as a last resort as I've been really uncomfortable, applied after showering and there was a bit of stinging which worried me at first, but it quickly went away and I felt so much relief. I was no longer agitated by clothing or movement, perfect. Will be using daily.

I was hesitant at the start to use this, I’m always very careful about products on sensitive areas. Like others have said, this does give a warm (ALMOST burning) initial sensation. Once this settles, around 30-60 seconds, the cream is quite neutral feeling but does feel like it is protective/barrier. It was very useful in keeping the skin feeling happy and not itchy, especially if dealing with sweaty/hot situations like exercising or just existing in the heat waves recently. I felt this only needed applying once a day and didn’t seem to leave any strange residue. A strong 4/5 rating, lost a star because of the warm almost burning feeling once applied initially which does make you feel a bit panicked!

As a woman of a certain age lol,Ive suffered an irritation ( itching ) in an intimate part,right at the front outer area if that makes sense.Ive tried various things but nothing helped for very long,if at all.Its been ongoing for years,and itched unbearably to the point where I was clawing and scratching every day,sounds horrible I know,but thats how its been,so I researched anything that could maybe give me some relief,and this cream has been getting good reviews.It arrived today and so far so good,it seems to be helping,and maybe I'll sleep tonight without trying to ignore the irritation or scratching incessantly.I tried the other Vagisil ,the medicated one,but think this one is the best.Ok it stings slightly to begin with,nothing major and way better than the horrible itch which was driving me crazy.Hopefully this is a solution for me,and if it continues to help I'll be stocking up on it.If like me youve had this problem,give it a go,Im glad I did.Just wanted to add a bit of info,although Ive found the Vagisil a massive help,I had previously been prescribed Estriol cream by my gp and had been reluctant to use it,so my problem persisted.Ive started using the Estriol now,every day for 2 weeks and twice a week thereafter,the Vagisil really helped in the time it took for the Estriol to have any effect and I wont be without it,but the Estriol has taken effect now and I cant tell you how good it feels to have the persistent itch disappear.So as well as the Vagisil,Id really recommend that anyone reading this considers the Estriol too,I can sleep with no scratching,and thefeeling of sheer comfort is the bestever,having suffered for years and feeling miserable because of it,If you dont already use it,its worth having a word with your gp,I cant believe how much better I feel .Good Luck everyone :)

I’m going through the menopause but haven’t yet received help from my doctor,as it’s a long process,anyway I thought I would try this as it has a good reputation,I received it about an hour ago and used it straight away,there was a little burning,but nothing major,however it’s amazing,I should of tried it a long time ago,I highly recommend it

I've used this cream for a few weeks and have delayed a review to see how the long-term effect was. I can say now that the cream has changed my life. I had itchiness and soreness for about 5 months after an operation required me to use a pad. GP prescribed Canesten, which didn't help. I googled the problem and one suggested treatment was Vagisil. Reading the Amazon reviews I ordered it for same day delivery. It worked the first time I used it and has continued to provide relief, even when I missed using it for two days. I don't know if it's a cure, but it's certainly a wonderful help to keep the itching and pain away, and used as per instructions, twice a day for me, it's been a life changer. If you're suffering, please give it a try.

Funny smell, did not really do anything, I used for over a week and it make my skin feel itchy. If you are sensitive I would not recommend
