I have tried many other carriers over the years. This was recommended by a women that blogs and did a bunch of reviews of different carriers. My son is 4, very tall for his age, and over 40 pounds. He has out grown all of his other packs. We tried this one because it goes up to 60 pounds. The first day we went out for a 3 mile hike. We love this pack. He sits lower on your back so it helps your center of balance. I have had others where the kids sit up higher and it makes you top heavy. Not the case with this. The open mesh helped so he did not over heat, and the pack it's self was comfortable to wear. Any time you carry more than 40 additional pounds on your back, you expect pressure points. This pack evenly distributed the weight. My son loved this pack. We purchased the stirrups also to make it more comfortable for him. I would recommend these for taller children. Over all, nice product, light weight and easy to travel with, and great for longer hikes.

I have been searching for a toddler-sized carrier for what feels like forever. My 1.5 year old son is constantly running away and it's hard enough to keep up with him and my 3.5 year old daughter. Now I have baby #3 on the way and was panicking with how I would manage it. I bought this carrier as a daily special and have absolutely no regrets. It is pricey, but well worth the money in my book (and I'm usually all about buying second-hand to save money)! This carrier is comfy, breezy for tots so they don't end up super sweaty like in most carriers and very easy to use. My son is always fighting being in a stroller, but loves to be worn in a carrier. We used this carrier on vacation when we went hiking and it made everything so much easier. My son has always been big (98% height and 9.5 lbs at birth) so I wish I had found this earlier. He outgrew infant carriers at 9 months, but wasn't walking yet. If you are on the fence about this carrier, BUY IT! You, too, will love it!

Amazing toddler carry on, I use this for my very attached child who is 2. I used this through out a trip and use it front of back, it’s amazing and worth the value. I put my child on the back if I have to do house work. I can tell it’s comfortable because my child loves to fall asleep in this.

If you've got a big a** baby or an adult size toddler, you need this!! The weight support is impeccable. I wish I had gotten it sooner.

I loved the carrier for my grandson. But it is impossible to get the baby in the carrier without assistance. Even when I tried setting him inside the carrier from the front and moving him to the back, I needed help. The quality is superior, however, and I plan to use it frequently. I just need to have someone available to help me

I’m not sure why this is flagged as a frequently returned item. As a mom of a 2,3 and 5 year old it’s been a life saver. I’ve had it for probably a year and a half. I’ve carried each kid in it. Seems comfortable for the kids and it is comfortable for me. Easy to put on once you get the hang of it. Must have for parents who have multiple kids close in age

I had an Ergo carrier that I loved but my 3 year old was beyond too big for and I needed something for the rare occasion I needed to carry him. We love to go hiking and he does great but gets tired trying to keep up with us and our older boys and just needs a short break. I wanted something light, comfy for me and him and also something that I can store in another pack when we didn't need it unlike big bulky hiking packs for babies, most of which he is way too big for now. This has been perfect!!! It crams into my husbands pack nicely and usually mid hike when our little man is complaining he is tired we pull it out and I give him a "piggy back ride" for a bit so he can rest but we can keep moving. When he is ready to do his own adventuring again we fold it back up and cram it back into my husbands pack. It works out great for our hiking needs, also I keep it in my car in case we get somewhere and he is passed out or we are somewhere crazy busy and I need him close and safe so I can keep my eyes on our other two boys.

Very comfortable and holds my 40 lb kid great! Easy to get on and off.
