Q: Do i need too change the light bulb types high and lows and whats the diffeence between this one and the other model that they have for sale?

I didn’t change bulbs. I just used the ones they came with them

I think at least have a year. But I don’t have any problem with them they’re working really good

Q: Where do you connect the black and red wires to?

Red is hot/power, that only has power when running. The black is negative/ground.

Q: Do I hook the black and red wire to the battery

You shouldn't need to connect anything directly to the battery. Use the wires/connectors that are made for your headlights. I believe there are additional wires for each headlights halos that should be tapped into your running light wires, I used a T-tap. You just need to determine which wire it is to tap into it by referring to your manual.
