Mystical Tarot Deck Cards – May 8, 2017

EDIT: as I study this deck more, I notice things like...the banana peels under the FOOL'S FEET :-). It's little touches like that that makes this deck more layered and more fun, while still having beautiful artwork and easily-readable imagery.Why I rated it five stars (and I am particular regarding decks and card stock)?It is different than any other deck I have YET... I read RWS images (Rider Waite Smith) and I feel the imagery follows that clearly enough for me to easily read it.I love the rich look of a deck like the Sola Busca in the artwork, yet this also has that playful touch that reminds me a bit of Salvador Dali.SO DIFFERENT, easily READABLE by those who can read RWS....now on to the card stock.LOVE IT! It isn't flimsy, and I love it doesn't have the heavy lamination or chemical smell (which is often because of the heavy lamination) of many decks. It smells like fresh paper. And I like to ink the edges in Holtz Antique Linen to "age" most of my decks and this takes the ink readily.I have viewed hundreds of decks and this one is something extra special. Lo Scarabeo knocked this one out of the park for me.

Great, great art. I love the art. It is breath taking! Learning from this deck still. I know Tarot, I meant learning of the way it speaks, so to say. It certainly speaks out loud. I do like it. You have friends that are pleasant and wonderfully dear to you and then you have some that are out-going, out there and have very robust personalities. This deck is this kind of friend. What one person could say to you may be meant offensive, but stated mildly, another person could say the same words being loud and laughing and mean it as sharing in a close friendship. The last person's meanings was nothing of negativity of any kind.So it is most like, however, that your average, normal sweet and calm, oh-hum dreams took a quick, direct right turn to fanasty and bizarre world at break-neck speed. Much to be learnt from the lay of the land.

It's a lovely deck, almost an art deck quality about it except for the cardstock which is typical of mass produced decks.It follows the Waite - Smith tradition so it's a pretty easy read with better art.My only complaint are the borders which are a bit much. I haven't trimmed mine because I can't bring myself to trim decks, but it seems one would be unable to trim this nicely without chopping off the number and name identifiers. That might not matter to someone who can readily identify each card.

I really like this deck. Quality is good. The artwork is strange and interesting and colorful and I find it very engaging. I have the app too which I also like alot. I find the artwork tradition and easy to understand. The only thing I don't care for is the dissappinting, thick border which detracts from the beauriful, strange art and ultimately makes the images much smaller. I've trimmed the border off and really like how the colorful images pop. Overall, this is one of my favorite decks, and I have A LOT of decks! I do wish it had more diversity. If they did another edition that was borderless, I'd buy it in an instant.

I immediately fell in love with this deck! It is absolutely beautiful. I love the design, the graphics. I literally can't stop looking at these cards, I love how fast I connected with this deck. BUY IT! you won't regret it.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I love everything about these cards, definitely on my top shelf of tarot decks . The deck comes in tuck box with paper pamphlet for card meaning like all Lo Scarabeo decks but I don’t mind, actually prefer that way

I gave this deck a 3/5 because it just didn’t resonate well with me. I personally would give it a 1/5 for me. That said, there is nothing wrong with it. The border was a turn off immediately and I think that set the stage for my lack of interest. The concept is good. I was hoping to get more out of the mythology, but it comes with a standard LWB that I can’t really see. This will probably be a deck giveaway to someone who might appreciate it more.
