Really nice eye mask. Very soft silky feel and I love that it has room for blinking and eyelashes. Nothing worse than an eye mask squishing your eyes. Very good fit with adjustable options to fit your head. Blocked all light for me and stayed on more overnight than other eye masks I’ve had (I’m yet to find one that is still intact in the morning). Highly recommended. Came with free foam ear plugs and I wish I knew what brand they are as they are really good.

In all my six plus decades of living I've never needed a sleep mask until working 1st shift for the Postal Service. 1st shift begins Zero hundred hours! Side-switching side-sleeper here, and this mask not only stays in place, it is undetectable. Perfectly sized eye cups keep material away from my fairly long eyelashes, and blocks out all light! For reference, my head circumference measures 21.5" along the area the masks sits, and the adjustable hardware sits near the back of my head and is also undetectable during sleep/turning. From what I see on my mask, the strap is long enough to accommodate at least double the circumference. Having read reviews of many types of masks available on Amazon, I choose this one because of the comments about being soft over the ears, which it is, and having an adjustable strap vs velcro, because having my hair pulled or tangled in velcro didn't seem pleasant. From some photos, I thought the nose area may be uncomfortable as it seems to sit low on the nose, but again, it is undetectable. Some reviewers mentioned a chemical odor, so I gave it a good sniff right out of the bag, and yes, there was a somewhat strong odor on the foam inside, but being desperate for sleep, wore the mask anyway, and no odor was detected while wearing. Another up close sniff test after a few days revealed no odor; the mask just needed a little airing time. If you're on the fence, fed up with uncomfortable masks, pinching of the ears, having your hair tangled/pulled or a mask that won't block light or stay on, try this one, I think you may be pleasantly surprised!

I returned the product with regrets -- I'd have kept it if I were still crossing oceans on planes regularly, but I cannot use it for sleeping in a bed. It's the most comfortable sleeping mask I've put on (and I've had dozens and dozens), but I misunderstood the "side sleepers" part. I am a side sleeper, but sleep with my bottom arm "raised" in line with my body and my head resting on that arm; the issue is that not infrequently, the main point of contact on my head ends up being the orbit of one eye, putting most of the pressure on the circle of bone, but also some directly on the eye itself, something to avoid. The solution is a mask with a rigid curved surface over each eye that protects the eyeball and redistributes the pressure on the orbit (like those eye shields provided to cataract patients); that type of sleep mask is really hard to find -- I thought that's what the Alaska Bear product was. I cannot speak to its use for side sleepers who sleep with their arms "down" and whose head is presumably in contact only with the pillow, but as a long-time frequent flyer I can heartily recommend it to anyone who want to (try to) get some sleep on a long flight.

was really hopeful for this one as it's not as bulky as many of the popular ones, but the wide straps go right over my ear and made it really uncomfortable. strap is too thick to move over ear. also lets light in at the nose. i see they make a 4 strap one, but it doesn't have molded eye cups. i'm really puzzled as to why more don't have 2 straps.

Bought for my 10-year-old daughter and it's the perfect size. It's really soft and silky and completely blocks out the light. The design means that you can blink your eyes without your lashes catching which is brilliant.
