I have 3 dogs. One always had near gag worthy breath in spite of cleanings and extractions. Bought this out of desperation and it WORKS. I only use 2 cap fulls daily in community water bowl- lasts about 2.5 months. I've purchased it at least 5x and will continue to use

I bought a couple of the 8 ounce bottles since they were cheap add ons to give it a shot. My cat is almost 10 years old and recently his breath has been extra stinky. After battling him to inspect his mouth I noticed the gums around his back teeth were red and inflamed. I've also been battling feline acne around the sides of his mouth and on his chin for just about forever. I put the dental fresh in with his water and literally as soon as I set it down on the floor he came running and drank a bunch. He has been drinking it like crazy and seems to like the taste. He actually gets excited when I change his water now and will come running to drink it when it is fresh. Anyway 2 weeks later his breath is 100% better. There is no offensive odor even when he has his face near mine and yawns or cleans himself (used to smell so bad when he cleaned himself). His back teeth are looking a little less yellow and nasty too. The feline acne has really cleared up on his chin and is almost gone on the sides.. just a small bit is left on the sides of his mouth and seems to be quickly clearing up. This product has been a real life saver and money saver because plan b was to take him to the vet if this didn't work. He hates the vet and car rides so I'm sure he is as happy as I am about this working.. As soon as I get through these 2 bottles I'm getting him a gallon jug of this stuff.

This is the best water additive. I won't use just any water additive. Some have bad ingredients. Research it. This one also was good with my vet. I've been using it for my dogs for years. Be sure to use the correct amount according to the directions. I've never had to have teeth cleaning for my dogs. No tartar. Nice teeth. My oldest dog is almost 16 and has great teeth. I've got cats now and I put it in their water too. Cats tend to get bad teeth so I'm glad this additive is available. I've read some other reviews that say they got smelly bottles. I never have. Don't buy this in a pet store. Things sit on the shelf too long. It's cheaper here anyway. I can't say enough good things about this product.

Whatever that protective foil/plastic is that you break to get to the product after unscrewing the cap? That is awful. It disintegrates and gets into the product. Poking it doesn't work because soon enough if starts disintegrating that way. Trying to peel it all off at once doesn't work because it starts disintegrating right away and there are still bits of it on the rim that I can't get off but eventually float into the liquid. Either way, I end up spending time fishing bits of foily plastic from my dog's water. It's a very good product otherwise, which makes it frustrating. I'll keep using it because it does seem to help, and I need MUCH less per ounce of water than with the Arm & Hammer stuff. Much, much better value, but it means a bit of work.

I only give this product three stars as I after using it for three months. I noticed no difference in my pets breath or teeth for the price. I was able to get a ultrasonic toothbrush which works much better for my dogs.

As we all know dogs have super sensitive noses. My girl Ashley hates to drink water with anything inside of it. However she drinks this mixed into her water with no problem. Its working in combination with also once weekly brushing because her breath was definitely starting to smell really strong. But after this it did make a big difference in her doggy breath.

my dog loves this, she drinks water all day and night and still does did not change water taste at all and i like the cute green tint it add to the water so is easier to see water level in her clear water system as it is a gal and half auto water system and her teeth are so nice and her breath very fresh

Dental Fresh Original Formula works well in maintaining clean mouth, fresh breath, and tartar free teeth and gums. I would recommend vet dental cleaning first, and then you can maintain it with this product.
