I bought this set of 2 on May 1st, had them programmed on May 5th and both worked great. On June 19th the one I chose to use, quit working. I thought maybe it was the battery so I put a new 2032 battery in and still nothing. The 2nd Fob works, but I'm a bit concerned considering the 1st one failed after 7 weeks and 3 days. The Locksmith did ask me where I purchased them and said "sometimes they sell some good ones" after I told him Amazon. I'll call the Locksmith back and see if the problem is in the programming or the Unit itself so I'll wait to submit an actual review of this product.

Affordable and quick. Unfortunately u still have to have this one programmed. Did find a local key shop and it was way cheaper than the dealership. Plus they ended fixing my old one.

Used this with the SmartKey and I was able to program them in 5 minutes. They also upgraded the buttons so they are imbedded in the circuit board. No more worrying about the pieces breaking off like the OEM garbage.

The issue was was not with the fob. I called around to different locksmiths in my area. $60 was the lowest price to reprogram but the locksmith could not do it when I drove to the business, either his computer tool was outdated or he did not know how to do this. One locksmith said Amazon fobs would not work and would damage my working fob and I needed to pay him $350 for a single fob, I told him about reviews on Amazon and many were happy, he said Amazon fobs would not work. I found one guy who charged me $100 to reprogram my 2 Amazon fobs and my existing fob still works, he removed the metal keys out of the fob meant for the door and cut them. The two dealers I called never called me back both said they were short staffed. Advise.. shop around. About the fobs themselves.. They feel the same and work the same as the factory. I am very happy with it. Longevity? Who knows but they are backups and will get little use (except for the first 30 days to make sure there are no problems) I ranked easy to install as low because you cannot install them yourself and the all day even driving and calling around town to find a locksmith was not easy. Other than that everything is good and I would recommend them.

Work just fine. These key fobs for my 2021 Dodge Ram Classic worked perfectly. Way cheaper than the dealership. I strongly recommend purchasing the programming kit with them though.
