Fear of God
Dear Mr.Ray, I want to thank you for putting the "fear of God back in me". I understand why so many people have said to me" I'm scared to read the bible". They, like myself have sinned great sin, fallen away from God's law is the scariest reality anyone can imagine. When breaking God's law, people realize the very grave choice they have taken. And like myself, I seriously-seriously ask God to forgive me for breaking His Laws and wonder even with all of God's grace will I still receive His greatest gift of Eternal Life? This question terrifies me everyday of my life, I know God loves me, I know and believe in His Son Jesus Christ, and I believe in the Holy Ghost - Spirit, I believe with all my heart, my soul, my mind, Jesus was born of the Virgin Mary, died for our sins, and rose again on the third day. I believe everything I was taught by my dad when I was a little girl is true, I was raised on the KJV and was taught God's Laws, but as a young teen I broken many laws. It saddens and breaks my heart to know now and understand how much I hurt God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. I am terrified of my future, terrified of God's wrath upon me. Even though He loves me, this doesn't mean I won't hear those dreadful words when I cry our Lord Lord. And I believe this is why many people go to the churches that teach God loves us, but as long as we repent of our sins with his grace we will be saved. It takes away the fear and reality that if we commit the sin, ask God to forgive, He will. And if I commit another sin, all I have to do is ask to be forgiven all over again. But, when we realize we have broken the law, God's Law we're in deep deep trouble.I ask God to make me child like again, I yearn for Eternal Life, I fear God, and I truly believe we need more teachers of God's Law, I believe in you Mr. Comfort you have the "patten" on teaching the "Way of the Master".I pray that God will find grace in the sight of me on judgement day. And if He doesn't I still believe in Him and love Him, His Son and Holy Spirit with all my heart mind and my might.Thank you God, Our Father, Jesus the son of God and your holy spirit for sending and guiding Mr. Ray Comfort into this world to teach us and remind those of us who have been taught by the laws of God our Heavenly Father, and for placing Mr. Ray Comfort in my life to start living by and keep the one and only true God and His Laws in my heart, and the heart people though out His world. In Jesus name I pray and ask of these things. Amen. When I was a small girl in school, they removed the prayer from school and I said to the children and teachers it was "the beginning of the end" and I was very ridiculed and made fun of by the children. To this day when I run into adults I went to school with as children, they tell me I was weird, and mean talking about the Jesus stuff. "are you still into that"? I find myself apologizing for being like that, but "yes I still believe God was very angered by the removal of prayer from school".I highly recommend this book and Mr. Comfort's "Way of the Master"! Thank you Mr. Comfort, for you are a blessing in my life.

Jesus is our Example
Are you in ministry for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ? Did you raise your children in the church and see them reject it in their adulthood? We hear of worldwide revival but only a small percentage of people who go forward to invite Jesus into their lives grow into productive, fruitful Christians. Why?God Has a Wonderful Plan for Your Life--The Myth of the Modern Message by Ray Comfort points to the answer. As Christians we want our family and friends to experience God's amazing love as we have. We live our lives before them, loving them and praying for them day after day and year after year. Could it be our message? The message about God's wonderful plan for their lives, that God loves them and wants to be their Friend? This isn't how Jesus ministered. It is not how Paul or the apostles ministered either. They preached the law. They confronted people with their sin. True repentance comes when we are faced with the reality of our sin and God's amazing grace.God can deal with a broken and contrite heart. That is how He dealt with King David, a man after His own heart. David committed crimes against every one of the Ten Commandments when He saw Bathsheba. He lusted, stole, murdered, coveted, committed adultery, and dishonored his parents. Above all, David set himself up as his own god, so God was not his only God anymore. He didn't love Him with all his heart, mind, soul and strength. Thankfully, God sent Nathan to rebuke David and he fell on his knees and cried out to God, "Against you, you only, have I sinned and done what is evil in your sight . . ." (Psalm 51:4)This is how God dealt with me too. Without the law, I would not have known how much I offended God. Yet, when I cried out to Him, in His mercy He was there with me. It was as if He wrapped His loving arms around me, kissed me and said, "I love you. I am with you." I don't know how He could touch me and let all my mess get on Him, but He did. He knew two thousand years before I was born that I would need His grace. He took my mess to the cross that day on Calvary. He died and rose again so I could live with Him forever. This is the salvation message that our world is desperate to hear and experience. I encourage you to read God Has a Wonderful Plan for Your Life-The Myth. We can be real salt and light in our dark world. Find out how.

Eye opener
I am an old man of 74 years. For many years, I have felt that something was missing in the gospel message. Many people who claim to believe in Jesus absolutely show no fruits of righteousness. I am no ones judge. That is my observation. So why? Jesus said, "Many" who think they are Christians are lost. This deeply concerns me because those I have observed are family and friends. The answer is described in this book. Read it and you will discover the reason Jesus said, "many".

Great book
Highly recommend. This was the first Ray Comfort book I purchased and will definitely be buying more! I appreciate how he understands the bible but writes in a way that I can understand exactly what he means. I have 3 small children so quiet uninterrupted reading is not a luxury I have! However I was still able to read, understand and enjoy this one.

Excellent book
Great book for evangelizing. Easy to understand. I have learned so much from Rayโs teachings and videos on YouTube. People I evangelize to usually thank me for telling them the truth. The Bible says, โKnow the truth and the truth shall set you free. This book is a winner for all. Bless you Ray for your love and compassion for the lost.

Challenging, convicting read
A book worth reading if you want to win souls that endure to the end in the way of the Master. Will probably read this again and again and again. Already bought two hard copies and given them away. Buy this book

Easy read
How I wish this book and itโs life-affirming message could be shared with most pastors. What I see offered by most is salt which has lost its saltiness... almost anything goes now. Thank you Mr Ray.

One of Comfort's better works. Deals with a major problem within the Christian church today. Shows the place and Law and Grace in preaching, whether as an individual (1-2-1) or to the masses. Recommended
