AIBOO Linkable Under Cabinet LED Lighting 12V Dimmable Puck Lights Hardwired with Wireless RF Remote Control for Kitchen Mood Lighting(8 Lights, Daylight White, NO Wall Plug)

Our kitchen previously had unreliable fluorescent under cabinet lights that were hardwired and controlled by a wall switch. When we replaced the cabinets we needed something, but didn’t want to spend a lot. I give it 4 stars because it was an inexpensive way to install under cabinet lighting. What I like: bright but not harsh lighting, very low profile, and easy to install with both adhesive pads and screws as options. What I don’t like: 1) the in-line switch cannot be eliminated without splicing the wires. It seems redundant in a hardwired system with a remote option. 2) the plug-in receptacle for the wire to the light puck has 6 receptacles which just makes it unnecessarily large. One would only need at most 2 receptacles (in the event the power is in the middle of the area to be lighted). Otherwise, since the lights are linkable, it’s just one more thing to stash under the cabinet. 3) the wires are so long!! 19” from power supply box to plug-in receptacle box and 30” plug to plug for each light puck (plus 4” to the puck). We put 8 pucks under 5 cabinets so they ultimately spanned 8.5 feet. That gave us 13 extra feet of wire to stash unless we wanted to cut and splice.

Ordered a few sets in 2700K which gives one a pleasant color of light easy on eyes, like an old type of bulbs used to. Made of aluminum in a high quality standard. Low profile AND VERY EASY TO MOUNT. The most expensive, really custom made kitchen - by custom made I mean at least $50 000 or more cabinets only - would not be ashamed of the sets. Less expensive kitchens would also adore the sets.A few sets can be operated by one remote control or by switches separately. Have many dimming pre sets and can be adjusted to ones' taste by additional dimming capabilities.Will update on longevity accordingly.As of now I can recommend the sets.

Edit: still going strong after 2 years, we keep them on 24/7 and besides the remote control (which we don’t really need) they have been flawless. If they had left the remote out of the package I would give them 5 stars.The controller quit in about a week but the lights are really nice and the included extensions are a big plus. I don’t need the controller anyway.

The media could not be loaded.  My first day with the lights they feel of very good quality, very good material and they work perfectly with flash lights and I really recommend them. Awesome

Ordered bright white first, they were too white, did not match other lighting in kitchen.Returned (no issues) and purchased warm white instead, perfect!Took my time and did a good install, concealing all wires and running wires in wall to serve both sides of kitchen.Purchased hard wire system, but ended up putting a plug on it to make disconnect easier, plug receptacle is in fridge space so not visible.All in all a very nice system, lots of good parts for a reasonable price.

At first I was satisfied with the lights: they work as expected, were easy to install, and look good.Then, after trying to buy other low voltage track lighting and trying to make sure the bulbs match the 2700K color, I realized that most other LEDs of this size are WAY off in color quality. It's hard to get 2700K LEDs of this size that look good. These lights though EXACLY match 2700K halogen color, which i'm impressed by.
