My favorite car mount. It's travelled the world with me and I keep using it. I recently moved from the US to New Zealand and back again. This car mount came back and forth with me. I don't want to use any other mount. Easy to vent mount, holds the phone solid, and charges well. Would buy again!

Works fine. Adhesives need to be significantly better, particularly for the metal plate on the phone case and for the cable management. Why a barrel jack? I'd give up extra Watts of charging for the option to use one of the existing USB-A rather than the cigarette lighter adapter.

I was skeptical the magnet would hold the phone in place while riding in my Tundra. The magnetic action is actually very solid and there are no issues with falling off. The iPhone charges as expected so I am very pleased with the product.

The plate does not adhere to the phone, after contacting customer service, I was told that this was a known issue with high-end phones (iPhone, Samsung) that applied a protective coating to the handset. Even after using superglue, the plate did not adhere more than two days of use. Customer service informed me that Scosche advises to only use this product with a case. They also acknowledged this was nowhere advertised on any platform they sell the product on, nor is it called out on the packaging. Misleading at best. If you are a user that likes their phone without a case, this product is not for you.

I have had this for about 9 months. I had bought the older versions in the past that used magnetic plates that attached to phone and could use any USB b cable This has its own charger and can only connect to it. The wires are starting to show. The extra USB c port on the charger no longer works. It just really wasn't what I would hoped to be. I am now looking for charger plates for my older charger and remove the ring that I bought so I could use this one. I am not happy

It’s a great design for charging and holding the phone! but the attachment of the halves at the back is loose so it bounces. I put super glue in it to hold it to its base

Works great for the car with my iPhone 12 but I definitely suggest using the extra magnetic piece that it comes with.

I've had several Scosche mounts in the past and while all car mounts are a bit imperfect, these have worked the best for me. I was a bit concerned with this one considering some of the negative reviews, but bought it anyway considering most of the alternatives are Chinese no-name brands. Regarding the magnetic mount: I use a Samsung phone. I'm not sure if the single piece of metal provided for non-magsafe phones is enough, but I'm used to Scosche using a 2 piece connecting system on their wireless charging mounts, so I went ahead and bought a magsafe adapter (round metal circle attached by sticker) to use along with this. The two combined stick the phone to the mount very well. I have no concern that the phone will fall off, however, sometimes I do have to nudge the phone a bit to get it into position to charge. This is normal, at least in my experience with a Samsung phone. I should also note that I use a case on my phone so I don't think it is the Scosche's product's fault (in my case) that it doesn't always connect properly the first time. I want my phone case, and so I'm willing to deal with it. Regarding the adhesion of the sticker components: I haven't used a mount that is held by a sticker like this before, previously I've used the vent mounts (which fell off occasionally), the cigarette lighter mount that is held in only by the electrical connecting point (which would break after a year or two), or the CD drive mount which I found to be the most solid and reliable so far. But I recently upgraded my stereo unit and no longer have a cd drive so I had to try something new. My dashboard has a texture to it that I thought would make it near impossible to allow a sticky mount like this to work, but surprisingly the mount seems very solid. I am very happy with it so far. As far as the metal stickers that attach to the phone for the magnet to connect to, these have always been great. So great in fact that when it finally came time to remove one in order to replace it with the magsafe adapter, I had a very hard time getting it off. This is a good thing. Regarding charging: Others have said that the charging didn't work or was so slow that the phone drained faster than it charged. This isn't the case for me (even with a phone inside a case). So far, it seems to be charging at a normal speed for a wireless charger, which isn't all that fast but it is plenty enough to charge the phone even if it is being used for something intensive like displaying video. But if you're looking for a really fast charge, use a cable. My expectation is that I can use things like GPS maps on long drives and not have to worry about my phone dying. This does the trick.

Mucho de lo que hace esta marca es buenísimo, tengo años usando sus productos, es la primera vez que me animo a comprar un cargador de este tipo, por que no es economico y funciona muy bien y es muy cómodo. Aunque tienes que tener tres dedos de frente para instalar la placa correctamente, gracias a dios, tengo más… no me gustó que tiene un cable que va al encendedor del coche, pero no hay como sacarle la vuelta a eso, y tampoco me gustó que no está bien pensada la placa para pegarse en el tablero, debería haber una mejor opción que el rompe rejillas del aire 3000 que también está lejos de ser bueno o estar bien pensado… pero funciona apenitas.

Vent clip works well and the magnet is strong. Charges fine. Lost a star as the stick - on mount didn't stick on very well and I'll have to look at a way to scrape off the adhesive and use something else.

Si, rebota un poco, pero no es nada grave, conduces y ves la pantalla sin ninguna molestia. Si, no carga tan rápido con MagSafe, pero cumple el trabajo, y si es una urgencia, con que conectes por cable al puerto USB C que tiene, cargará rápidamente. Personalmente, me agrada en función, agarre y precio.
