Updated after 2 years. Hinges came apart. The case was well cared for and never dropped.It was only used to hold a GPS unit. Lifetime warranty requires you ship the product to Pelican as opposed to sending in a photo or video of the product with defect. You also have to pay return shipping so you end up basically paying full retail price to get warranty service. A case like this should last many many years however this one does not last. Holds a large GPS and accessories very well.

I used this while I travel to keep my external hard drives safe, and even though it is fairly heavy and bulky, I wouldn't travel with expensive technology without it. Protect your hard drives, camera, iPhone, etc from damage with this well-made, solid case.

I keep a video camera in this case. The interior is lined with rubber so even though the camera is not snug, it seems well protected when bumped. As with other Pelican cases, if you can snap the lid closed, it's sealed against water, plague, pestilence, etc.

Case is watertight, and super durable. Works great in the boat and kayak
