Works great with an ESP32 controller.
I heat my well house in the winter with a 60 watt light bulb. I've been using an ESP32 in the well house to transmit the temperature to my network. I've just added this photoresistor to monitor the status of the light bulb. If the light should be on and the photo resistor doesn't detect the light, it will send me a text message.

Work Great!
They work great. I messed the first one up when my soldering iron was too hot, but I learned my lesson and lowered the temperature on the second one. Good that this is a big bag, so I can mess up 29 more times! They work great on the breadboard too. For my application with Arduino Nano, each 22K resistor added between 80-100 points to the analog input signal (1023 max). So I had to add at least 6 resistors, to get a 1.0 in the digital port. I will add a 250K variable resistor (potentiometer) to my board next time to make adjustments easier.

Works well, needs power
It works well, but requires more voltage to really light up the LED brightly. So needed 2 batteries on our simple paper circuits. But a cool, easily accessible switch that can be used for simple DIY and maker crafts.

Tiny but useful
These LDRs are really small. I didn't know that when I ordered them. The price was great, but I was dismayed to find them so tiny. But that turned out to be an advantage, since I am using them to detect laser light. I've assembled nine in a 3x3 matrix, joining all the left "legs" and all the "right" to create a single massive LDR. Consequently, the small surface area of each individual piece works to my advantage,

Good product
My son and his classmate used to build a science project. Product worked well and they got an A

Cheap price, cheap quality
I was attempting to use these photoresistors in a project I was attempting to complete. The project consisted of using the photoresistors to automatically face my small solar panel towards the sun. The photoresistor’s tolerance fluctuates wildly between each resistor. I had to sit down and manually check for matching ambient resistances to use for my project. However, I’m not really disappointed as they were extremely cheap and at the end of the day I was able to use them in the project. I just had to do a little bit of extra work.

Excellent for DIY projects
This is exactly what I needed to have my outdoor wall light to turn on at dark without me turning on the breaker everytime. Easy to install as it comes with nice long pins, so easy to install it. I used certain weather resistance glue and covers in order to protect it from the rain and snow. It is really worth for a DIY projects at home.
