NORTIV 8 Women's Waterproof Hiking Boots Trekking

I bought these for my wife after buying the Men's equivalent of this Nortiv 8 boot for myself last winter. She loves them! They are lighter in weight than you'd expect for hiking or winter-weather boots, and she can't get over how comfortable they are to wear. They look great, have a very good (but not overly aggressive) tread so you can keep traction in a variety of conditions and surfaces. Keep your (or your loved ones) feet warm, dry, and protected with these boots without breaking the bank to do it. Good boots for a good price! FYI: IF you need additional traction on ice, you can put YakTrax over the sole of these boots for a super "grippy" tread.

This is an honest review. No affiliation or commision. I bought these boots for a trip to Iceland. I wanted a budget-friendly pair of quality hiking boots without paying for a big name brands. They turned out to be one of the best purchases I made for the trip. They were comfortable on long hikes and provided excellent ankle support on rocky and uneven terrain. We experienced all kinds of Icelandic weather. Rain, mud, wet trails, and windy conditions and my feet stayed dry the entire time. The traction was dependable (which was also important), and the boots felt sturdy without being too heavy. For the price, the quality exceeded my expectations. If you're looking for reliable hiking boots that can handle challenging conditions without breaking the bank, I would definitely recommend these.

Absolutely loved these boots! My partner wanted to go hiking on our trip to Hawaii so I knew I needed hiking boots. I came across these and boy let me tell you. Best purchase ever for hiking boots! Wore them for four hours and not once were they uncomfortable. They're also very feminine and cute so that was a plus for me. They're definitely waterproof and slip resistant as it began to rain as we were hiking and not once did I slip! Great grip for any terrain, even mud! They're not heavy at all on my feet. I'd say they were well worth the price paid for such durable well made hiking boots. I'd definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a reliable, comfortable pair of boots. Also, my feet didnt overheat while wearing the boots and my arch felt well supported. I haven't cleaned the bit of mud off mine yet but nothing dawn dish soap and mr.clean sponge can't fix! Definitely recommend and i can't wait to use them again! I could also tell other people liked them (I saw the curious looks from other women.)

These are almost perfect. I needed a hightop waterproof hiking boot for an upcoming trip that would be mostly walking with some light hiking in snow and/or rain. With a future vigorous hiking trip in mind, I wanted to try these boots out in gentler terrain. Warm and waterproof: yes. My feet did not get cold or wet in light snow and rain. I wore lightweight wool socks. Comfortable: yes. Right out of the box I had no trouble, no break in period. I did a short dog walk wearing the boots with ankle socks. That was a mistake as my leg got a blister where the hightop rubbed. My own mistake so no stars taken off. These need crew socks, not ankle socks. Insoles: ok; but I needed to switch to SupFt after 4 days of walking in these boots. My daughter got the same boots (the black and pink ones are sharp looking!) and she needed to change the Insoles too. Hiking capability: overall good but here is where I took off the star. These boots don't lace up tightly around the leg, making the hightop feature less effective. The ankle is secured by a single hook, but it would have been better with 2 hooks. I could only get the ankle tight by lacing around the back of my leg and then going through the hooks to tie. The single hook and loose top was fine for walking and gentle hiking, but I'm not convinced these boots would be suitable for a challenging hike with elevation changes. Price: really good. Overall, I'm not unhappy with the boots. I'll definitely wear them this winter for walking and easy hiking. I'll try them out on steeper terrain to test out the ankle support and looseness. I'll update my stars as needed.

Here are my reasons for the 5-Star rating. I broke my left foot 15 years ago and sprained the left ankle 3 times since then. As a result, finding any kind of shoe that does not make my left foot ache has been a real challenge. The boots have great arch support, although I decided to insert my ortho inserts for extra assistance. I found the ties offered extra ankle support without rubbing or irritating my ankle. The sides of the boot come above the ankle, so they do not rub the lower ankle area. So far, I have worn them walking through soft dirt, hills and rocky terrain. I wore them on a rainy day and spent substantial time trekking through Wal-Mart, the grocery store and running errands around town. They have great traction and the material dried quickly. Most importantly, my feet do not slide or lift up as I walk. Nor do my feet rub against the back of the boot, and I have plenty of "toe" room. Depending on the maker of any shoe, I can wear an 8.5 or 9. I ordered these in a 9 and feel they are perfect with a heavy sock. I'm pleased to say I have not complained about foot pain as a result of wearing these boots

Overall the shoes are really cute and are fine on walks around the neighborhood or lightly graveled areas (think like heavily trafficked driveways). However, taking these bad boys on an actual hiking trail was not ideal and I personally do not recommend unless you feel confident in resolving the below. Maybe user error: The tongue, no matter how hard I try, doesn't want to stay snugly in the boot against your ankle and allows a ton of debris to get in to the boot. Truly just insisted on leaning forward and getting as far away from me as it could. That meant having to stop and clean my boots out several times otherwise it got quiet painful. Fits as expected, were not bad at all to break in, and outside of debris no foot pain (aside from the normal tiredness of hiking 7+ miles).

I just purchased my second pair of these boots to replace my beloved first pair I bought 2 and a half years ago. Anything that can hold up the way these boots have is a great buy for me. I have worn them every single day - in rain, snow, and mud. I wear them out in my pasture when caring for our horses. Springtime is very wet here and I'm usually dealing with mud and muck. These boots have done an excellent job of holding up to that - keeping my feet warm, dry and comfortable. I also take frequent walks, hiking in the woods, and they have been great for stability and traction. Considering that I put an average of 3 miles a day or more on them over these past 2.5 years, I would say they are an excellent value. I decided it was time to retire my original pair and snatched up a new pair on a Prime Day deal. This is a purchase you won't regret!

Este invierno son las segundas que compro para mi, camino diariamente entre 8-10 km y me resultan muy comodas y calentitas aparte que no calan nada de agua, la anchura esta muy bien no se va con el pie comprimido y el agarre por senderos esta muy bien, contenta con la compra!!!!

Pedí el color gris prado en la talla 22.5. Mi pie mide exactamente 22.5 cm (lo medí en una hoja), así que tenía un poco de miedo de que me quedaran justas, pero la verdad es que me quedaron muy bien. No aprietan, al contrario, tienen un pequeño espacio que permite que el pie respire y esté cómodo. Cabe mencionar que mi pie es delgado, pero aun así considero que la horma viene bien, ligeramente amplia. Las usé durante una semana y media seguida, y en general son bastante cómodas. Sin embargo, si planeas caminar muchísimo, puede que en algún punto sientas un poco de molestia en el talón, especialmente si las usas por muchas horas desde nuevas. En ese caso, recomendaría considerar una plantilla para mayor comodidad. En cuanto a la calidad, es muy buena. Las botas son tal cual como se ven en las imágenes, incluso mejor de lo esperado. Además, el envío fue excelente: llegaron antes de la fecha estimada, lo cual fue un gran plus. Un detalle importante es que un día me tocó lluvia y puedo decir que mi pie se mantuvo completamente seco. En general, una muy buena compra.

Super Schuh. Gibt meinem Fuß eine gute Stabilität und passt auch in meiner regulären Größe. Hatte selbst beim einlaufen keine Blasen und nach der zweiten richtigen Wandertour hatte der Schuh die Passform meines Fußes perfekt angenommen. Kann ich nur empfehlen.

I ordered these on the offchance they could deliver as a wide shoe after reading reviews and seeing people claim they would, so I am here to also back those reviews and declare "Wide shoewear people rejoice!" + Arrived promptly + Size and colour correct on arrival + Wide fit is genuinely achieved + Very good cushioning + Secure feet + Strong tread and material + Back up laces provided The boots do come with an extra set of laces but I may replace them with some paracord. The length of them is not too bad, but the lace material lmakes them prone to coming undone unless you double tie them. All in all though I'm not going to lay into the shoes about that. It is rare to find such a comfortable wide fit hiker and I look forward to wearing them portaging next month.
