So far I used the "Cat 6 Outdoor Ethernet Cable Bulk 328ft/100M (20 RJ45), Shielded Cat 6 Ethernet Cable Direct Burial, Heavy Duty 23AWG, Waterproof, UV Resistant, Internet Cable, Cat6 300+ft for Router Gaming, CCA" for a 100+ ft and 10ft run with the RJ45s provided. The line was in great condition and wires felt like the appropriate grade. Both cables that I made had no issue with manufacturing quality and speed test of the line gave me the full 1gb u/d speeds of my network with no jitter, <1ms latency and no packet loss. My 1 nitpick is that I wish the RJ45s allowed for the wires to pass through as it was difficult to see if they reached the contacts at the end. This would eliminate guessing if you made the cable correctly and would reduce waste of the cable and RJ45s due to the wires not reaching contacts after crimping them.

Used to extend Ethernet to unattached garage/shop. Worked well using shielded connectors. Pulled past (and next to) power lines and through underground conduit for a total of around 150'. Low jitter and signal loss. 1G line runs around 700mb through 3 switches vs around 200mb wireless. Wire was easy to work with, allowing for reasonable bends.

I purchased this to run a network drop to my father-in-laws detached garage workshop so he could have complete connectivity and coverage throughout his property. Cable quality is good and it seems to be working just fine being directly buried and not in conduit. Good price for what it is as well.

I purchased these wires thinking that I could run them underground to structures on my property and I would get the rated speeds for cat6. Was I wrong! They only work at 100mbps and they are terminated well and pass on a tester. These wires are junk and at length of 200ft and 300ft do not get the rates speeds advertised. I should be able to go up to 328ft and still get gigabit but due to the low quality of these cables that is not possible. I would not buy if you are expecting gigabit.

The cable was exactly what we needed

I picked up this Cat 6 cable for an outdoor project, and it’s been perfect. It’s tough enough to handle being buried without needing extra conduit, which saved me time and hassle. The shielding keeps the connection rock-solid, even over long runs. I also like that you can cut it to whatever length you need—super convenient when you’re dealing with tricky setups. The free RJ45 connectors were a nice bonus, too. Definitely happy with this purchase!

I really appreciate good customer service so I wanted to make sure to point out that they went above and beyond to make things right and if I could just rate the seller I'd give them 5 stars. I still stand by my opinions on CCA cable which is why I'm still not giving a 4- or 5-star review for the product itself, but in many circumstances, it'll work fine and is much cheaper than solid copper cat5e or cat6 cable so I think 3 stars is fair. *Original Review* Giving 2 stars - not due to the manufacturer, seller, or Amazon - but because this cable is CCA which is junk, and I didn't catch it before I installed it all through my house. CCA is probably fine for short patch cables for personal use, but it doesn't meet code and isn't UL listed so questionable for permanent installations. It shouldn't be used in business or commercial applications because I don't consider this a "serious" product (in my mind like operating an auto shop with harbor freight tools). It should not be used for POE, or for running through walls, and must not be bent repeatedly, pulled excessively hard, etc. Unfortunately, I did basically all those no-no's and I've been having intermittent connectivity issues with a couple of cameras, and now I'm thinking it MAY be because I internally damaged the cable while pulling it in - I'm not sure, but the fact it is CCA cable is suspect so its all going to go. So, I wasted a day or two of crawling in my attic plus the $60 or whatever the cable cost (plus terms and copper tape). I wish Amazon would do something about this and at least make a filter option or something so we don't have to go through each individual product to dig through the specs to see if it is CCA or not. P.S. this is shielded cable and I found you have to correctly ground the RJ45 ends or you'll have issues. Buy yourself some copper double-sided tape and heatshrink and watch/read online guides on how to properly install shielded connectors because these cables will not work properly if the shielding isn't good. I had one camera that was power cycling and I found it was because I hadn't grounded one end correctly.

Llevo un año con los cables a plena luz y no he tenido problemas. Lo use para conectar internet a 15 mts de distancia. Tambien lo use para camaras PoE y va de lujo. Eso si, las cabezas de ethernet rj-45 son especiales, como el cable es grueso no puedes comprar cualquiera.

Cat 6 should be able to deliver 1gb speeds. I'm losing massive speed over this cable. I ran 200 feet, 1 GB at on the input, and 100 MB on the output. Not impressed.
