Itll take time to put in.
This item arrived looking great and simple to install...boy was I wrong! First there were no instructions. Then I figured out that I had to remove the inside dome light and then pull the headliner away from the roof while removing two more 7mm bolts from the roof that held the 3rd brake light in. Once it was out you'll have to take the contacts that hold the dome light bulb in and insert the new ones that are connected to the new 3rd brake light and they don't work as well as the old ones. So, if I had to do it again, I would've cut and spliced the new wires to the old wires for the interior dome light. Tip: Have an extra person to hold pressure on the outside of the new brake light or use tape to hold it down while you get the bolts started when you install the new brake light. The good thing is that after you put the bolts back in for the 3rd brake light and get the dome light re installed, youre done. There are no exterior screws to hold the lens on the new light housing. It looks good installed and I like it. My 03 Sonoma has a cleaner look now.

Tricky to install if you don't have the tools
Best way I found to do the job was to drop the headliner and go through the back window if you have the slide

Finally I installed
I got this light for a DIY project in my car and finally I installed, good brightness and nice LEDs, find a professional to install it if you don't have auto electrical experience

check your wires
first one i got assumed defective turnes out that my factory harness wires are in a different configuration on the plug so fried a few fuses also will require removal of headliner more than likely
