Quesadillas Hardcover – March 1, 2010

Gave away to granddaughters for Christmas. They all loved them and said that they are fast and easy to use. The great grandkids are requesting quesadillas daily.

Love this book! I did go out and buy a quesadilla maker too but that was stupid - skip it. The top gets SO HOT - like scary, need an oven mitt hot - but this book has SO many great delish recipes. When it comes to cooking, no matter how simple the concept, I really like it when someone tells me their great ideas so I don't have to "make it up on the fly." SO yummy and easy and each recipe as good as the next. Reasonable price and pictures of the delicious food! Enjoy! (skip the maker! ;)

I'm glad I bought the book. I was looking for some fresh ideas on creating different flavor combinations with the Quesadilla, and on this point Ms. Kelly really delivers. The recipe for flour tortillas is excellent, and a great bonus. The book is well organized and illustrated beautifully. What I found disappointing was that the recipes were all described in a 'sandwich style' preparation. In Mexican cuisine, the tortilla based sandwich is called a Sincronizada. Despite the similarity to the Quesadillla, it is considered a completely different dish. Traditionally, the Oaxacan version of the Sincronizada includes ham. Ingredients aside, the main difference is that a Quesadilla is made of a single folded and filled tortilla, while the Sincronizada is prepared like a sandwich. Additionally I was hoping for some insight on technique in preparing the Quesadilla. Ms. Kelly states that she prefers to cook with two flat tortillas rather than one folded one, because it helps to facilitate more even cooking.For me, the 'fold' is an integral part of the finished Quesadilla.

I did not want a quesadilla maker, my wife wanted one for her birthday. I read all the reviews and decided on this unit. When we got it and tried it, I was very happy with the ease of use. I have made many different quesadillas as well as eggs and pancakes. It heats up fast and I have also used it to warm up cold french fries (better than the oven or microwave for this).I thought this thing would go the way of the bread maker and the pressure cooker that I bought my wife (at her request) for other birthdays, but this compact unit has found a home in our kitchen and not in the basement.

This book knocks the idea of a long prep meal in a cocked hat! Now we have numerous recipes for exciting, nutritious, delicious meals ready in minutes and fun to eat.This is now my go-to book for snappy eats with minimal angst!

Good illustrations. Really makes you think outside the box. Especially benefited from tips on how to concoct without a quesadilla maker! One less mini appliance in my apartment size kitchen.

This is a great little cookbook of interesting variations on Quesadillas. Already have a few favorites, and must say I've tweaked a few for my taste. I think you'll enjoy this one.

Good book but kindle eBook format is not suitable visually impaired... for my visual aid FBR audio reader.I can get a friend to copy text into PDF and then I can listen.I have the kindle app but it is so limited liability in scope.Am I missing something?

Sehr leckere Sachen drin. Ja kann man selber drauf kommen - macht man aber nie....daher tolles Buch. Meine Familie findet es auch gut.

Super Rezepte, die schnell gemacht werden können. Große Auswahl an Rezepten. Habe schon einige ausprobiert und alles bis jetzt sehr gut!

Ein englischsprachiges, handliches Buch welches übersichtlich und mit ansprechenden Fotos illustriert wurde.
