Reliable rubber mat
Put in the back of my Urban Cruiser to prevent a small trolley and toolbox from sliding all over the place, especially since their are limited hooking points for a small cargo net or bungy cords.I can strongly recommend this item. Quality is very good. I tried to stretch the rubber texture and it takes a lot of strain. I'm impressed. You don't need to stick it to the boot floor or anything. The items resting on it creates enough friction in addition to the friction of the rubber on the carpet material in the boot.

Anti slip
Frustration ended. Now stuff you load in trunk cannot slip.

Different item
Not what is on the picture. Expected black thin underliner, received beige blue design, thick as a carpet.

NOT TOO THICK AND WILL LAST
I HAVE FOUND THIS MULTI PURPOSE NON SLIP MATERIAL/MAT EXCELLENT.USING ON A PLASTIC BED TABLE TOP TO PREVENT ITEMS SLIPPING & SLIDING AROUND. THE MATERIAL IS SOFT WITH A RUBBER TYPE FEEL. ONE SIDE HAS RAISED BUBBLES, THE REVERSE IS FLAT.I HAVE FOUND THAT BOTH SIDES WORK NONSLIP. I ASSUME THE RAISED SIDE IS FOR PLACING HEAVIER ITEMS AND FLAT SMOOTHER REVERSE FOR LIGHTER ITEMS LIKE ORNAMENTS ETC. ON POLISHED WOOD FURNITURE TO PROTECT & AVOID SCRATCHING OR MARKING THE SURFACES.THE MAT WAS EASY TO CUT TO REQUIRED SIZE WITH SCISSORS.THE ITEM HAS A CHEMICAL SMELL. I CHECKED BUT COULDN'T FIND WHAT THE MAT IS MANUFACTURED FROM. I WILL CONTINUE LOOKING IN CASE I MAY HAVE MISSED THE INFORMATION WHEN I CHECKED. I WILL READ OTHER REVIEWS IN CASE SOMEONE ELSE HAS FOUND THE INFO AND RECORDED IT or I MAY ASK THE SELLER. I ONLY PURCHASED THIS SMALLER SIZE TO TRY FOR NON SLIP FEATURE WITH SMALLER ITEMS, AND I AM VERY IMPRESSED WITH ITS NON SLIP PERFORMANCE, I HAVE WOOD FLOORING AND AM CONSIDERING PURCHASE OF COUPLE MORE LARGER SIZES TO PLACE UNDER RUGS/MATS. FOR THE VERY REASONABLE PRICE I PAID ON AMAZON. I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT THE QUALITY WOULD BE LIKE OR EVEN IF IT WOULD BE THE RIGHT ITEM FOR THE PURPOSE I NEEDED.AS SOON AS I REMOVED THE OUTER PACKAGING I FELT I HAD CHOSEN CORRECTLY.I PURCHASED FOR A SPECIFIC USE AND AM SURE THERE ARE MANY OTHER USES FOR THIS SOFT AND STURDY FEELING NON SLIP MATERIAL.

Stops slipping
Just perfect
User
Works ok, brilliant when glued on
Works ok but much better when glued to the items you want to stay still. I used spray glue to stick to the bottom of plastic storage tubs I use in my car and they donโt slide around at all

This is exactly what I was looking for!
I have recently bought a camper van and this was one of the first things on my list to buy. I finally got around to ordering this after a few weeks of trips in the van and it is super useful! Adding it to the bottom of cupboards is the main way I am using this, just giving that little bit of extra grip, assuring things are not flying around when driving etc.Have also been using it on the dashboard to keep things from moving too much and while it won't keep something completely still it makes a massive difference.Cutting it was no problem at all, as you can see from the photos I have used a stanly knife to cut it as I wanted it to be a particular perfect shape and it was honestly like cutting through melted butter, super easy. I have since tried with a normal pair of kitchen scissors and they had no problems at all, I would say any half sharp knife or scissors wouldn't have a problem with cutting this!Definitely be buying this again if I run out, highly reccomend!

Works okay... But not as well as I'd hoped.
We recently recarpeted my son's room, and his bedside mat kept walking away up the carpet because it couldn't stick to the new carpet. So we got some double-sided sticky tape. That lasted about a day, and getting it off the carpet was hair-raising (literally) as it pulled a load of threads out it was so sticky. Therefore I tried one of these. I've used stuff like this before in cupboards. It works well for when you have glasses that you remove from the dishwasher. They might still have moisture inside, so you can line the glass shelf with this. It lets the steam out, and it's non-slip so the glasses stay put even if one leans over onto another one.I cut a huge square out of this and placed it under his bedside mat. Within minutes the mat had rumpled and walked. For carpet-on-carpet, this thing is totally unsuitable. So I moved the square under his bathmat in his bathroom. There, it worked better. He has linoleum tiles, rather than ceramic, and the mat doesn't move as much, but it still moves.I feel that this stuff is designed to work well on smooth ceramic tiles, but struggles on textured tiles, has a really hard time on textured linoleum and simply doesn't work at all on carpet. It might work well on wood, though, but I didn't try it.I'm giving it 3 stars because I just couldn't find a place where it worked as well as I'd hoped. Your mileage may vary, though.
