There are cheaper chair balls on Amazon, but I'm glad I bought the Vivora Luno.
I found several cheaper Swiss exercise balls, but I think this might be a case of the old adage: "you get what you pay for." I decided that I want to use it as an office chair, so I want it to be good quality and not look cheap, I don't have time to screw around returning a cheap one, Vivora Luno's looks like the best on the market so I'm going to stop worrying that there are other brands that are five-or-ten-dollars cheaper. Right now, after just a couple of weeks, I'm glad I bought it from Vivora Luno. The ball itself was high quality. More importantly, the cover looks perfect to me: good stitching, straight seams, nice material. Nothing about the quality puts me off. "You get what you pay for." The cover makes all the difference. In the past, I had tried using a plain exercise ball (without the cover) as a chair. Way too flexible and bouncy, it wasn't practical and didn't feel professional at all. It didn't work at all — at least not for me. The cover keeps the ball from expanding out of shape and bouncing too much. The seams help keep it from rolling around. And here' is another benefit you might never think of: the cover takes away that pinging-ringing sound that echoes from a regular plastic ball without a cover. It's important to me, because I do a little audio recording and I noticed that even having a big plastic exercise ball in the same room didn't work, I could here the a nasty reverb sound coming from it when I was recording audible sound. Doesn't do that with this felt cover. The ball inflated easily and was not difficult to align inside the cover. However, I used my little compressor, in the garage, instead of the little hand pump provided. I was able to go slow, give it a little shot of air, then keep adjusting the position of the ball inside the cover. Of course, with a compressor and tank that has 100lbs+ in it, you have to be careful not to overinflate, but that's not difficult, and I had the ball ready ready-to-sit on in 2 or 3 minutes. I'm sure it is doable with the little hand-pump but I imagine it would take a lot more time and work — probably 15-20 minutes or more, leave your arm dead from all the pumping with the little plastic hand pump. As for use of the ball as an office chair, while working at the computer, so far I love it. I still have my regular office chair close by and have moved back to it every day, after my back and core get a little tired of sitting on the ball. To me, that means it's working, making me sit up taller, working my core in a very subtle way. That also tells me my core was getting weak and this will be good for it. I can see already, I'm using the ball for longer periods of time, but still glad I have the regular chair to go back to when I'm tired of the ball. Another thing that takes a little getting used to, it pushes on your rear-end differently than a chair does, so it can leave you a little sore the first few times you sit on it. In fact, I ended up letting a tiny bit of air out to make it just a tiny bit softer on my seat. Maybe I had it inflated too tight at first. But this, just like your lower back and core muscles getting used to sitting on the ball, it is sure to get better as I build up to using it more of the day. One other thing that should be mentioned, the plastic ball inside the felt cover doesn't breath in the way a cushioned office chair can, so it can heat up on your derriere. Once again, I think the benefits outweigh that inconvenience, but I'm able to spend a little more time on it every day. I can imagine that eventually I may spend the entire workday on the ball and opt to get rid of the standard office chair, or maybe not, maybe I always keep it hand so I have the choice to use either.

Excellent sitting ball for encouraging proper posture
I purchased this ball to complement my new standing desk set up. I tossed my old office chair and decided to purchase a ball instead. I had used a regular exercise ball in the past, but found it a bit finicky - it moved around a lot, needed to be refilled with air frequently, and wasn't making me sit up that straight. I did some research and decided on the Vivora Luno, with recommendation from Wirecutter. I got the standard size in the color Anthracite (which is just a gray, see pictures), and the material is felt. First, the instructions recommend that if the ball is too difficult to inflate with the pump they provide to use a bike pump for the last part of inflation. Now, I had no difficulties inflating my ball at all, and don't have a bike pump anyway. And let me tell you, this ball is HARD. It did take some getting used to. I could have deflated it some, but after using it and dealing with a slightly sore ass, I found I was sitting up straight and had amazing posture on this thing. However, if you intend to use this as a total replacement for a regular office chair, I would caution against it. I am transitioning from sitting 8 hours a day to standing and using the Vivora ball. I do sit on the floor on a cushion and work for a while to give my back muscles and core a rest. It is a bit intense to switch to this ball and standing from being almost entirely sedentary. I had no issues inflating, like I said, and you put the ball into the cover and then inflate - I had no issues with the folds of the ball but did have to finagle it somewhat to have the inflation hole line up with the zipper. The process took maybe 15-20 minutes but I get distracted easily. For a more focused person it would probably take less time. And, if you're going to use this at an office, I'd recommend inflating it onsite anyway (despite the ball having a fantastic handle to carry it around). I am using this ball on carpet. It pretty much stays in place. The bottom has a sort of grippy material that keeps it from moving around. If you look at the pictures you will see what I mean. Also, I have pets, and their fur clings to the ball. I don't care about this and it doesn't bother me. If it would bother you, I suggest getting a different color or opting for a different material. The ball is ~24 inches tall, but it could work at about 22 inches if deflated. The ball is extraordinary light. One of the problems I have with a regular exercise ball is that it's so clunky and hard to move around - I usually end up kicking it around instead of carrying it. The Vivora has an awesome handle. Apparently you can use this as a birthing ball and even outside. I didn't know what a birthing ball was, but there you go. So basically it's 3 in 1. Oh, and despite the fact that it is quite hard and doesn't move much it is still usable as someone who fidgets quite a lot. I have ADHD and like to bounce up and down, move back and forth, sit with one leg, or no legs, etc. You can do that with this ball. Now, if you are going to use this everyday, I would suggest opting for a fancier material than the felt. But hey, the ball was only $50 and I have gotten more use out of it than I ever thought I would. Oh, and for anyone curious - I had lower back issues sitting on a fancy $1500+ ergonomic chair at work. Switching to standing and using the Vivora ball? Much less pain/issues. My body is still acclimating and so I have some body tenderness - but hard to know what to attribute it to, since again, I stand for work now as well. But I heartily recommend this ball and encourage people to ditch their chairs!

Great - just don’t inflate it all the way
This is long - but worth the read. I bought this ball because I am having back pain so I plan to alternate between this and my super nice office chair, also hoping it will help strengthen my core. I tried using my exercise ball but it compressed too much and was too low to sit comfortably at my standard height desk. Inflation was easy, took some time with the hand pump that was provided but no issues fully inflating it and getting the zipper to line up correctly. It did come with an extra plug for the ball and another part that has threading on it that I’m not sure what it’s for. I was unsure what size to get, thought about the extra large one because I wanted to be able to sit at my desks with no issues. After reading the reviews I found that the extra large is really big - and boy were they right. I’m 5’-5 1/2” (yes that 1/2” matters 😉) 145 lbs and with the ball fully inflated my toes barely touched the floor. So I had to remove a lot of the air to get it so my feet can sit flat on the floor. This does make the cover a bit too big - it’s noticeable when you look at it (see video and picture) but not when you sit on it. This ball is comfortable to sit on - not too hard because I had to remove air to be able to have my feet on the floor. It stays in place well and does not roll around when I get off of it. I always thought your hips were supposed to be at 90 degrees and so were your knees - I do not have that with this ball unless I remove more air which I don’t think I should do or I will sink into it more (makes me feel like it’s defeating the purpose then 🤷🏻♀️). Even so it is comfortable and looks great, but I was only able to give 4 stars because of the amount of air I had to remove and how the cover fit.

Great purchase!
I purchased this ball for my home office. I like the fact that it doesn't roll around, it stays in place. I like the dark gray color that goes with style in my office. Not only you can use it as a chair, you can use it as yoga ball, and also get workout on your arms. To make it full, you have to use the pump that comes with, and it takes some doing. By the time I made this ball completely full, I was sweating. I had to ask my kids to help me with that, as I was getting tired. Over all, it is a great yoga ball. I highly recommend it.

This thing ROCKS!!!
My office chair crapped out and I (having some low back and neck pain and working at my desk 11hrs / day) wanted to try something different. I researched kneeling chairs and a few other options before coming upon this. I was a little skeptical, but with the great price -and the fact that I needed something to sit on for my next shift at work, I went ahead and ordered it. It was SIMPLE to inflate. Reading the reviews, I was afraid I would have some issues or that it would take a long time to inflate, but it was easy and I am pretty sure I had it inflated in less than 7 minutes. It is super comfortable and I can tell it is really helping my core muscles. I have had it a couple weeks and guess what? No neck / back pain! Yay! Also, I burn calories bouncing -which is SOO much better than being sedentary. It is also really cute in my office, and very well-made. I bought a round base to go under it for stability and I love it. I'm not even looking for another office chair anymore.

Great all day seating replacement for a regular chair
I got this to replace my office chair as we are working from home now and my old chair is not comfortable enough for a full day. This ball is great! After one day of sitting on it I felt less pain and after three days of sitting on it I felt no pain at all after sitting for a full day. Also, balancing and movement instead of being completely static in a chair is I think therapeutic. I find myself rocking or stretching and at the end of the day feel really great. I got the regular size one and it fits under a regular height desk perfectly. To inflate, I used a craftsman inflator that I plugged into the car and it took maybe 15 minutes to get it fully inflated. I stopped a few times to adjust the ball inside but it wasn’t hard to line up so that the valve is right under the zipper. After a few days the fabric has stretched a bit, so I plan to inflate it a little more over the weekend so that it’s fully tight within the fabric outer cover. It does come with a hand pump but I believe that might take a while.

Beautiful but inner ball weak
I absolutely love this yoga ball - the cover is beautiful and it does stay standing. I use it at home at my small Ikea desk while I work remotely and the standard size is plenty tall for my short desk, I can barely fit my legs underneath when it's fully inflated. I was a raving fan until recently - I started doing "rebound" exercises on the ball where I bounce gently for ten minutes to get my lymphatic system going (I suffer from chronic illness and am unable to exercise regularly). Right away, the ball lost its firmness, and no matter how often I reinflate it, it doesn't hold its shape anymore. Yoga balls are made for bouncing! I'm having terrible back pain from sitting on it (sitting on a yoga ball that's not fully inflated is really bad for your back, FYI!) but I don't have a chair to replace it with. So, I'm bummed out, even though I still love the chair. I'm ordering a replacement ball for the inside and I think it'll go back to being great, but obviously I wish I didn't have to spend the money on a second ball AND I'm dreading getting that ball into the cover because it was a huge pain in the tuckus. So, I'm not sure if I should recommend or not - on one hand, I truly love it. I love how it looks, I love that it stands on its own, I love sitting on it with the cover much better than an uncovered ball. On the other hand, the ball inside is unreliable, which means you're paying $50-100 for a yoga ball cover.

A hidden gem
By far one of my best Amazon purchases to date. I originally bought while pregnant so so could have a sturdy ball to sit on/labour on (which I did), but after baby my husband wound up claiming as his gaming chair because he fidgets quite a bit and this ball offers him more freedom of movement while geeking out. A+ for surdiness while offering a nice esthetic that i like in our home. Our midwives even purchased the same for their own office after attending our homebirth. Couldn't recommend more!

I put mine through its paces, and it has survived very well
I have owned mine for nearly 18 months now, the ball is robust, and apart from having to re-inflate it a little probably 3 times, it has kept its pressure. The cover however, is showing signs of wear now, but in fairness, I have used this as my office computer seat for around 10 hours a day 6 days a week, and that is a lot of use. I will see if I can just buy a new cover for mine in the coming weeks or months, but I am very impressed with how long it has lasted. It has a treadmill as the base it sits on, which has a grippy surface, this may add to the wear it has suffered. I suspect that if it was used in the way it is meant to be used, it would have lasted years longer.

A sitting ball that looks good
I love this product and have recommended it to a few people already. The price made me hesitate and the delivery time was longer than most other products but it was definitely worth it. My home desk is in my living room and so I wanted something that doesn’t look like a big piece of exercise equipment that hasn’t been put away. This is lovely and looks like it belongs, not to mention being really comfortable to sit on. I ordered the light grey and the fabric is like a strong felt (which can collect fluff at times, but a quick vacuum solves that). The bottom of the cover has a circular section with some anti-slip dots which I think makes it a lot more stable than a basic exercise ball usually is. Some reviews mention that it was scratchy and that was a bit of a worry, but I used this for months in the summer with bare legs and it wasn’t really a concern. Yes when it is new some of the seems are quite hard and if you rubbed them on your skin repeatedly it could hurt, however I don’t tend to sit still much and it still never really caused any problems. It also does soften over time. I found the ball really easy to pump up inside the cover as per instructions and then just zip closed. You do need to keep the valve by the zip opening but it’s really not difficult if you do this. I have now been using it for over 6 months and still extremely happy I made the purchase. It has lost a bit of firmness but not enough that I have felt the need to pump it up again. I also haven’t had to wash the cover yet so I can’t comment on that at all.
