How to Make a First Impression like a Boss

As a retired business woman, I teach a class at a community college and am putting it on my recommended reading list. Over the years I have seen so many people, of various ages, who no doubt would have made great employees, never get called back for a second interview. Given that situation, this book could be life-changing. However, I have to give it only 4-stars because I find it a little too male-oriented. Then again, sometimes things can be too gender-neutral.

I had no idea you could break down the first-impression like this book does. I am incredibly self-conscious, especially when meeting new people, but this book has given me a chance! If I start getting nervous like usual, I can now fall back on the methods throughout this great read. Highly recommended.

This book was a delight to read! I feel armed with more confidence and understanding of what it takes for making impressions. Highly recommended!
