I added this Rhino USA locking hitch pin to my 2010 Jeep Wrangler Sahara JKU, and it’s a great upgrade over a standard hitch pin. It fits my 2” receiver perfectly, installs in seconds, and locks securely with no rattling or excessive play. The weather-resistant lock cover is a nice touch, helping keep dirt and moisture out of the keyway. The lock operates smoothly, and the included keys worked perfectly right out of the package. Everything arrived quickly and was well packaged with no damage. Like the other Rhino USA products I’ve purchased, the quality is excellent, and it feels built to last. Solid protection for attaching a rear rack to a vehicle. It feels hefty and secure. I like the red version as it matches the vehicle, a small thing in the grand scheme, but small things make life better collectively. Don't skimp on gettting a good hitch pin. It is better to pay a bit more and then not worry about durability. No issues at all after several road trips.

I've owned a couple other Rhino products and they are rugged and high quality. This didn't disappoint. I like the slide keyhole cover over the rubber cover other brands use because it's less likely to fall off or get lost. I have a RAM 2500 with a 2.5" receiver and this is the perfect length to span it with little play. My one complaint is this style is difficult to lock. You need one hand to push on the clasp, another hand to hold the lock and a third hand or fancy finger maneuvers to work the key. This isn't a flaw of this particular lock but all locks of this construction. I wish they would make these like padlocks where you just push the hasp into the lock and it locks automatically, no key required.

Great craftsmanship and it’s long and strong enough for the heavy duty hitches. It’s nice that it locks. When I use my bike rack, I don’t have to worry about the bikes and rack taking a walk together. A chain is only as strong as its weakest link.

Very nice lock hitch pin however I had to return it because my Toyota land cruisers receiver. The external part is too wide so the pin was too short and I’ve been having that problem with hitch pins, but I think I have the problem solved.

Very sturdy feeling and lookin hitch pin. Nice lock cover on it. Great color/ coating . Very tight fit! Easy to install. Should perform well. Well pleased with it.

This product doesnt fit Landcruiser 250 (Standard) 2" Receiver. On the product packaging it says it fits All Class III & IV ALL STNDARD 2"Inch RECEIVERS . Toyota receiver is 2" Inch inside but you need longer pin than this one for the Landcruiser 250. It can't reach the lock. Its too short.

I've tried them all. All brands with little rubber cap or no cap over the key slot. Cap falls off, little line breaks off eventually, key slot gets full of crud and stops working. The slide mechanism seems to do the trick where others fail. The slide has stayed stiff enough to stay closed when protecting the slot. Other pin locks last maybe a couple of years and would have to be cut off by torch on the 3rd year. Not very reliable. I would suggest this one to my friends as the best pin and lock set available.
