Good fit and not thin like some (6-cup)
I like silicone seals, much easier to keep clean than the original rubber ones as they don't get grooves and the coffee doesn't stick like it does to the rubber.I like these silicone seals because of their thickness. The 6-cup size fitted our genuine Bialetti Moka 6-cup snugly (a touch wider perhaps than needed but good tight fit).I now realise that these seals at 5/32" (4mm) are thicker than other silicone seals, and this seems to make a difference. I was finding that the thinner ones seemed to leave more water in the bottom chamber unless you left it puffing away for a longer time (as there is more room for the coffee to expand in the basket?). But I don't have an original rubber seal anywhere to check what thickness they are.Don't forget to clean out the holes in the filter plate from time to time! That helps a lot.

better than the original rubber seals.
The silicon seals are a definite upgrade. No rubber taste after washing, thicker better sealing. And athe10 pieces are a lifetime supply at a great price.Using the original rubber seals I washed my Bialetti with soap and afterwards I had to re-prime the coffee pot with 2-3 shots of used coffee grinds. No need to do this with the silicon seals, no dodgy rubber taste.I needed the new seals as I forgot to put water in the coffee maker and burned the rubber seal. Not good.BTW if you chucked ur box out (like me) and don't know how many cups you coffee maker is then google "Bialetti seal spares" images. You should then get the correct dimensions for the filter ring etc to identify your seals.

Better than the originals
These silicon rubber gaskets are better than the original rubber ones in every way. They are softer and seal better, last far longer, resist heat better and don't smell or taste of rubber.Measure the outside and inside diameters to ensure the correct size.I have these sizes... 4 cup 65mm OD 50mm ID 6 cup 71mm OD 55mm IDHighly recommended - These should be supplied by Bialetti as standard.

Totally fantastic!
These rings are made of silicon. As such they are incredibly durable and strong and they are without a doubt much better than the ordinary rubber rings. The problem with the rubber rings is that, if you tighten them more than a certain amount, they start to disintegrate. What is even worse, the amount they can be tightened by decreases rapidly with time. So, if you make one pot of coffee a day like I do, you usually go through one ring per year. Despite only having had these rings for a couple of months now, I see no deterioration whatsoever with the one I am using at present which leads me to think it will last well over a couple of years.

Thicker than the old original gasket but seals just as good.
Been running my 6 cup Bialetti since 2021. Gasket is getting a little old in the tooth after so many brews so i decided to replace it and see if makes things any better.bought the 6 cup replacement pack and upon initial inspection it is slightly thicker than the original that came with my moka pot. Much thicker than expected but it fits in well and seals well when everything is attached and ready to make a brew.Only first time using it but the thickness of the gasket could mean that metal filters are easier to use as the old gasket could never get a good seal and leaked due to its smaller thickness.Just to be safe and get rid of any potential smells and tastes that could ruin a brew, I recommend running the new gasket through some cycles of really hot water before using.
