Anthelios UVMune 400 SPF50+ Invisible Tinted Fluid Sun Cream For Sensitive Skin With Mexoryl 400, UVB, UVA, and Ultra Long UVA Ultimate Protection, 50ml

I’ve been using La Roche-Posay Anthelios UVMune 400 SPF50+ for a while now, and I started with the non-tinted version before switching to this tinted fluid. The main reason I switched is that the tinted version gives a bit more than just sun protection. Tinted sunscreens containing iron oxides are known to help protect against visible light, including blue light from screens, in addition to UVA and UVB protection. That was a useful added benefit for me as I spend a lot of time indoors and on screens. In day-to-day use, I find this one much easier. The tint evens out my skin enough that I don’t use foundation anymore. It gives a natural finish rather than looking made up, which saves time in the morning and simplifies my routine. It’s also one less product to buy and think about. The texture is lightweight and works well on my skin, even when it’s slightly sensitive. It doesn’t feel heavy or greasy and sits comfortably under other products if I need them. Overall, it’s become my everyday SPF because it combines high protection with a subtle tint that makes my routine quicker and lower effort without compromising on coverage.

I’m working my way through my second purchase of La Roche-Posay UVMune and I will buy another one when it’s finished. I was originally disappointed with how small the bottle is, but it actually lasts ages with daily use, my current one has been going at least 3 months and still has lots to give. I wanted to add a daily sunscreen into my routine and this has not disappointed. The formula takes a while to adjust to, it is very liquid-y, you can use the bottle to dribble it onto your face or pour it into your hand for finger tip application. I also found the smell alarming, at first it smells very chemical based however it quickly disappears once applied and as someone with very sensitive skin- I have had no issues. The tint does not provide a huge amount of coverage in terms of make-up style foundation, it instead stops the suncream from ghosting your face, I, however have not been using any foundation products since I started using it. The spf seems to work great, daily it’s reassuring to know that my face is protected when out and about in the UK weather. However, it coped really well with the demands of the south of France in 35c+ temperatures with the usual sea and sweat challenges! I do occasionally have a blocked pore or two after wearing it, though it is not regular and is pretty standard for my skin. I don’t find the product drying at all, but I wouldn’t use it as a moisturiser. When I cleanse my face at the end of the day , the colour tint appears on the face cloth, so it lasts well. The colour blends well with my skin tone providing I pay a little attention to where I’m rubbing. Being blessed with oily skin, this product does not add to the oil slick, which is a nice change!

This sunscreen offers excellent protection, especially for melasma or pigmentation. The tint helps protect against visible light, which makes a real difference compared to regular SPF. It has a lightweight texture, spreads easily, and smells pleasant. However, the shade is too dark for me, so I need to wear makeup on top if I’m going out. Because of that, I mainly use it at home. Great formula, but the tint won’t suit everyone.

Nice and light SPF, not sticky and doesn’t sit on the skin, melts in and gives a light coverage with the tint - will buy again

As a mature woman, I love this! The directions don’t say how much to use but I apply the ‘two finger length’ rule amount which I have read for other facial spf. Firstly, I do apply serum and a light moisturiser and they apply this on top as the final layer. I wouldn’t say it adds much tint but that’s ok for me. Once it sinks in a bit the scent is quite pleasant but what struck me most was the lovely glow that lasted all day and the fact that despite the recent heatwave, no sunburn and absolutely no stinging of eyes! I bought one bottle on Prime day at a very good price and after using once, bought another three bottles! Time will tell if it’s as waterproof as they claim when I take it on holiday to Greece! Couldn’t be happier.

Supposedly for sensitive skin, too much alcohol in this for this to be true, very first application sent my skin in to a stinging rage. Straight to the bin for this one!

Finally a sunscreen that doesn’t make me look like an extra from Casper the Friendly Ghost. The tint gives just enough colour to even out my skin without looking like foundation, and it sits nicely under makeup. I’ve got sensitive, freckly skin, and this hasn’t made me itch, blotch, or panic once. It’s a bit shiny at first, but it settles down quickly and feels light all day. Ideal if you want sun protection that behaves itself and yes, it actually works in British weather too (I tested it between rain showers)

Me gustó, aunque! Es totalmente diferente a mi adorado anthelios mineral one que ya no he encontrado. Este es prácticamente como si fuera un aceitito, es muy líquido, y no tiene cobertura en realidad, es muy simbólico lo del color. Peero como producto digno de la marca le cayó genial a mi piel, me la deja con un toque brillante (sin caer en lo grasoso) un glow muy bonito, la piel suave, humectada y huele delicioso. Tiene una protección solar inigualable que es el objetivo y eso es lo más importante. Si no usas maquillaje o si encima de este vas a usar algún maquillaje en polvo, es ideal.
