Nice fit
I used iron on patch to reinforce the slacks due to a tear and used this product to replace the old one. Worked perfectly.

Mostly works
I have lost a ton of weight due to stress, and hoping I get back to my size I've tried to use these to temporarily alter waist bands of trousers. They mostly work. Sometimes the teeth bend in, and sometimes they come loose after wear. In a pinch they work well, you just might need to reattach or replace after a few washes/wear.

They work well but are difficult to fold up.

Cheap pieces of crap.
Metal prongs bent over just trying to push through fabric. BBC hacking plate and bar crushed flat when bending the tabs over to hold the bar on place. The metal is one step harder than tin foil.
