I love Hungry Girl books. I bought this as a gift for my daughter. She loves it. It has lots of recipes that are simple and satisfy a sweet tooth without all the fat, sugar and calories!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE HUNGRY GIRL!!!!
Hungry girl Is the answer to my prayers! Her recipes are by far the absolute best for what I am looking for. Which is healthier/ lower calorie versions of all the high fat,low fiber super sugary and loaded with unwanted calories comfort foods I love. Her recipes are amazing. She has a talent for finding ways of making all those good can't do without foods you normally have to do without in away that allows them to be apart of your daily life again. And in the most quick and easy ways that anyone could do. It amazes me how super simple they are and what she manages to do with so few ingredients. I mean you do not have to break the bank or be a chef or even turn on your stove for a huge portion of her recipes(your microwave will become your prized possession). for people like me who don't want to spend half their day cooking in order to eat healthy Lisa is Your Hungry Girl! Believe me everyone of her recipes are fast, simple and delish! If you can't tell I am LOVING me some Lisa Lillien. Believe me I am one of those who have struggled with food and my weight because of not being able get on board with the whole never being able to eat the things I love. Don't get me wrong I have done the whole deprivation thing. I mean haven't we all? But could never maintain it. If you can identify with that statement. Then let me just say these cook books(there are many and I have bought them all including the survival guide) are a God SEND!!! I am serious I mean come on I'm losing weight while eating fudge, brownies and cheese cake just to name a few(the cake mugs are all to die for too!!!) need I say more? And for those of you who follow weight watchers these are absolutely the perfect compliment to the program. I can't express how much easier it is to do with these recipes. They make such a difference I truly believe they should be a required buy when you join! Weather you have weight to lose and struggle with the whole diet thing or you just lead a busy life and struggle to eat right do yourself a favor and try HUNGRY GIRL! You won't regret it I promise!!!

Love Hungry Girl
I’m a WW member and I have many HG books. I have a sweet tooth and need something that is “points friendly”. I’ve never ever been burned by a HG book yet and I love this one just as much. Try her magazines too, they have awesome point friendly recipes in them. Oh, and they’re healthy too!

Top Notch-- Perfect in Every Way
I have every cookbook put out by Hungry Girl and use all of them. In my opinion, these are the perfect cookbooks for the way my family eats. Quick, easy, "junk food heaven" and HEALTHY. The "junk food" from the other cookbooks are healthier "makeovers" of things like nachos, Mac & cheese, etc. This book is only desserts and snacks.My 12 year old granddaughter can make a lot of these as an after school snack (especially the mug cakes made in the microwave--perfect single size) and has been using my other Hungry Girl cookbooks since she was 9. I highly recommend this -- worth the price in every way. (No, I don't know these people nor do they know me -- I have not been contacted by them in any way to write a glowing rating -- I just Love these books by Hungry Girl). There is a web site, also, that has hundreds of recipes.

Another Winner for Lisa!
I love Hungry Girl recipes because most are for just one or two. When you are dieting, who needs a lot of left-overs sitting there tempting you? Also, her recipes are simple, use common ingredients, and delicious. Almost every one is an A+. The bonus is that she includes all the informational stats so if you are diabetic and need to know that info, it's there; if you are doing calorie counting, it's there; if you are doing Weight Watcher points, you can go to her website and find them there (I wish they were in the book like they are with her recipes in her newsletters, but it's easy enough to look them up). Desserts are the biggest block for dieters, and denying them just makes the person crave them. Lisa finds a way to satisfy that craving without destroying the day's worth of dieting. Fabulous!!

Great simple recipes.
This was a bargain because it was listed as used, but excellent condition. Correct, you had to look very hard to see the slightest little crease on it. It was hardly noticeable. Great and easy recipes,using ingredients you probably already have in your kitchen.

some great recipes in here but its amercian so lots of this you cant buy easily in the uk and measurments are different, but reciepes look great i will try and adapt if i can

I liked the nutritional breakdown of all the recipes. All of Lilliens recipes are tried and tested low calorie alternatives with mostly wholesome ingredients.

Lisa is a genius! She has taken all our fave recipes and reengineered them in such a way to make them healthy and yummy. If you have a sweet tooth, buy this book!
