Is this vitamin made with whole foods?

Why does bottle say per 3 capsules, 500 mg’s for all ingredients in each capsule, and 1640 mg’s for the dry acerola alone.?

For example naturally occurring Acerloa cherry powder powder does not contain 100% Vitamin so the amount of Vitamin C will be less that the total weight of the ingredient.
