Recently baught this and its good. All ports working fine. Like the build quality. Looks solid. Packing was also good. Recommended.

This is a USB 2.0 Hub. Listing mentions that it has one USB 3.0 port that can deliver speed upto 5GB. This is impossible. The maximum speed this device can support is 480Mbps.I confirmed on Windows and Mac and by chaining a USB 3.0 Hub to this one and to the other port on my Mac. It mounts as USB 2.0 when on this hub. See screenshot.Type-C port on the Hub can only be used for charging and not for external display or chaining devices.Other's who have bought this device and wondering why your external USB disk is still not fun, this device and seller is to blame.

It worked perfectly as the hub for the devices that I have, which included the SD card, USB stick. The HDMI port did the job perfectly connecting to my large screen... Would recommend it for anyone who is looking for a sub device.
