The right book at the right time.
You know when you have something going on in your life and somehow the universe just presents to you the most perfect book to answer all of your questions and give you guidance in your life? That happens to me all the time and this book is the most recent gift from the Universe. First of all, the cover art is really powerful. Just looking at it makes me feel like there is so much ancient wisdom in the pages of this book and as soon as I started reading it became even more apparently true. Well, this is like the 4th book I've read from Eric Pepin so I already knew it would be a good one. But something about this one just really struck me in a different way. Perhaps it was because my life had presented me with new challenges, which included a lot of old patterns and memories resurfacing from my past. This book really helped me to face these struggles and have the strength and power to let go of these things that were holding me back. You know that feeling when you let go of something so painful and you just feel so much lighter and more free? That's what this book helped me to feel. I felt a new sense of liberation from the chains and shackles of my past. I feel more freedom to be myself and live my life than I ever have before... and that is just from reading the FIRST CHAPTER! I am so excited to read more because I know what I discover in the next pages of this book will have an even greater impact on me now that I am freeing myself from all limitations. I know most people probably wait until they are done reading the book to write a review, but I just felt compelled to write one now only a couple Chapters in because I think the sooner YOU read this, the sooner you can HEAL too :)

Things to make you go, "Hmmmm..."
The first couple of chapters are devoted to "Surrender". Letting go. Allowing the mud in your puddle of consciousness to sink to the bottom, so you may think clearly. This is very important, and I was glad the author opened this instructional book with this. Surrender is not a subject "shiny, happy, popular" or more famous faces like to address, because it gets messy quickly, for people to open up and forgive... themselves... others... God.These two chapters are worth the two stars out of five. However, from chapter three up to the last two pages of the book, information is typed out in a style which clearly broadcasts that all of it is actually transcribed Q&A conversations of instructor-to-paying-customer, where terms are either undefined, loosely defined, or written as if instruction has already taken place, and the reader just "misses out" because they weren't in California at the right hotel for two days in the same forum as the questioners. The last two pages are extant apart from his wandering waffle of instruction in telepathy: They are clear, concise, and practicable if the reader is fortunate enough to have a partner who doesn't care if you try to invade their mind just before they go to sleep. Let me draft a summary:1. Find someone willing to co-practice reading each others' minds.2. Write a bunch of different emotions out on separate slips of paper. Place the slips into a proverbial "hat" to be pulled out by one of you.3. Sit 5 feet apart, facing each other.4. One person pulls an emotion slip out of the "hat". A) they facially act out the emotion. The other person guesses it. (This is supposed to align the pair of consciousnesses.) Cycle through all the emotions. B) they cycle through all the emotions at random again, physically masking half of the details, but mentally projecting memories of these emotions to the other person. C) again, cycle through them at random, but giving no physical clue what is supposed to be projected.5. Take notes on what worked or did not work. Compare them. Try to get better.Remember, this is all suggested to be done just before one of the partners goes to bed, to cut down on individual mental chatter. If I suggested this to my wife, the only person around whom I live that retires near the same time as me, she would Commit me. My kids would probably tell stories about it to friends or their teachers at school, if I asked them, which would get back to my wife, who would then Commit me.Other than the first two chapters, I think this book was a waste of print.

This book answers the question “How?”
The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali calls it “Isvara pranidhana”. Christians say “Let Go and Let God.” New Agers encourage us to “Trust the Force”.The “Power of Surrender” is not a novel concept. But the question I always had before reading “Silent Awakening” was “How?” I mean, I understood that I should “drop my baggage”, that my fears and insecurities and unhealthy attachments are what prevented me from achieving an awakening. I also understood that letting go of my baggage is a function of trusting the Universe, knowing the Force won't let any harm come to me, but also – paradoxically – accepting the inevitable death of my physical body. But how? How do I do that? How do I translate this intellectual understanding into my daily life?Eric Pepin taught me how. The “Surrender” techniques taught in “Silent Awakening” worked better than hypnotherapy for letting go of addictions and childhood trauma. By letting go of my baggage, I raise my frequency and become more and more aware of the true nature of the Universe. There is a separate chapter on the “Kingdom” technique, which is an excellent way to cultivate desirable personality characteristics, and, like “Surrender”, can also be used to let go of unhealthy issues.“Silent Awakening” is not all heavy “issues-related” self help, thoughIf you really want to have some fun, try “Time Stepping”. What a hoot! I've won a couple bets and finagled half a dozen free lunches using this technique. Good clean fun.“Silent Awakening” is awesome and will pay for itself a hundred times over every time you use the techniques inside.

You are Beautiful and Eric allows you to awaken this part of ...
Life and the path to Awakening can be difficult to say the least. With many challenges and traumatic experiences, every obstacle is placed in front of you. Sometimes it is difficult to see whether you are headed in the right direction. Eric opens this book with a heart felt acknowledgment of seeing your true beauty and letting go of difficult times in your life that would be preventing your progress. The most powerful techniques in Spiritual Awakening are expressed in this book. In a clear and concise manor Eric takes your hand and guides you through deeper parts of your psyche to relinquish heart ache, guilt and shame that you may have collected throughout your life. You are Beautiful and Eric allows you to awaken this part of yourself. See yourself for who you truly are and allow the power inside of you shine brightly as it is meant to. There is no other person that can help you along the way than Eric Pepin. I could never express how far I have come since fallowing and applying all of Eric's material. My life and way of being has enhanced greatly since I have been introduced to his work. A mentor unlike any other, Eric acknowledges and will allow you to see the importance of who you are and what you can offer to the world. Every lesson in Silent Awakening highlights the core of its purpose. It is a must read if you wish to be the best version of yourself.

Fell Short of Expectations
For those who are well versed in the subject of Universal Consciousness this book will probably not add any new perspective. The beginner will probably get some enlightenment but there is much more information out there... Eric mentions his books and programs from time to time in the book but I was not 'sold' on wanting to follow up on this... Personally I am not a fan of the 'question-and-answer' style of writing which is how this book is written. Eric shows his ego from time to time but the several 'gems' well make up for this. Above all continue your quest towards enlightenment with Light and Love!
